A Christmas gift. What gift could he get her? It had to be something nice, and it had to fit her personality. "Henry!" he called to his son. "Get down here!" Henry came into the well-lit room. "Yes, dad?""Do me a favor. Tell me what you're getting your mom for Christmas," asked Sirius."The album.""Ok, thank you.""Can I ask why," asked Henry politely."I have no idea what to get your mother and thought I could build it after you.""Did I give you anything," Henry asked."Unfortunately, no." Sirius said to his son."Okay, let me know if I can do anything else," he said as he walked back to his room. Remembering last Christmas in the Dover-Black household. *Flashback to last year*It was December 8th and Sirius still had no idea what to get Nixie. He wanted to ask her but he wanted it to be a surprise but he was hitting a road block. He had no idea what to get her. He wanted it to be as special she was to him. Sirius had asked Henry to find out and that wasn't going too well as Nixie was always busy. Sirius had decided to take matters into his own hands. He went to Henry told him exactly what to say and watched. "Hey mom?""Yes Henry," Nixie responded."What do you want for Christmas?""Depends. I don't really care. Why? What are you going to get me?""It's a figurine. It looks almost exactly like you," he said with a gleam of excitement in his eyes."It sounds wonderful, Henry."It wasn't enough information for Sirius. He racked his brain trying to figure out a perfect gift for Nixie. And with that information it was only getting harder. It was just then he thought of something, something as wonderful she is. Water. He got a tiny jar and went straight to Meri. He told her what he needed and knew it would be the best thing he had thought of in a while. That Christmas as soon as Nixie had finished opening all the wrapped presents, Sirius leaped up and handed her one final package. It was light and very plainly packaged. She sent a wary glance to Sirius and he urged her to open it. She did and what she saw was a necklace with a jar on it. In the jar was some sand and water made to look like a beach. But the best thing was the stones. They led to a house and outside the house was an animal that looked like a hippogriff, a man, a woman and a child. She looked at the gift and smiled, looking up at Sirius. "I love it. It's wonderful."*Present day*

He thought of a wonderful gift. A clip. But with something a little more sentimental.

It was a crowded day in the Burrow. The Weasleys, Potters, Dover-Blacks, Longbottoms, and everyone else. It was a cold day outside, but inside it was anything but. It was Sirius' turn to give his gift to Nixie. He was awaiting her reaction to it. He had decided on a teal clip with other shades of blue intertwined in the design. The best thing was the shells. They were small enough to fit on the clip but they spelled out her initials. The stones on the edges looked as if they could be expensive gemstones but instead, they were shells found on the beach. Nixie looked over to Sirius, still in shock at the gift and whispered, "Thank you."
