~Niall's POV~
"Rivy?".
River looked at me like a deer in the headlights. She was barefoot and wearing the dress I bought her for our first date. Her lower lip quivered and she looked like she was going to cry.
I walk over to her, the spotlights following me. She hid her face with her hair and I protectively wrapped my arms around her. I whisper sweet and calming things in her ear, having disconnected my headset before doing so.
That's when I felt the twins hug my legs and heard the crowd go awe. I smiled softly, then River seemed to calm down. She picked up Malik and I picked up Rylan, reconnecting my headset.
"Hello," I call to the crowd.
They cheer and snap a few picks of me holding Rylan.
"What's their names," a fan calls.
"Rylan Rose and Malik James," I say.
"Who's their godfather," another asks.
"Well, Malik is named after one of my best friends," I say, wrapping my free arm around my wife.
The crowd murmurs softly, but Zayn's voice broke the silence, "Its me?!".
River laughed softly, then she says, "Sorry for not telling you for three years.".
"Sing," a few fans ask River.
Her face became a soft pink, her eyes showing a little embarrassment.
"You're insecure, don't know what for. You're turning heads when you walk through the do-door. Don't need make up, to cover up. Being the way that you are is enough," I softly sing to her.
"E-everyone else in the r-room can see it. Everyone e-else but y-you," River timidly sings, then she got braver, "Baby you light up my world like no body else. The way that you flip your hair gets me over whelmed. But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell. You don't know, Oh, oh. You don't know you're beautiful, if only you saw what I can see, you'd understand why I want you so desperately. Right now I'm looking at you and I can't believe, you don't know, oh, oh. You don't know you're beautiful. Oh, oh, that's what makes you beautiful.".
River and I sang that song for the ending of the show.
When we went backstage I called a dentist and took River there. She had her wisdom teeth removed. She blinked groggily, but she smiled softly.
I love her.
