I woke up around one a.m. Of course, Regina was still asleep. I was still wrapped in her arms, too. She was warm. I rather would've stayed there, with her warmth enveloping me, but I knew I had to get up.
I sat up on the bed, and carefully untangled Regina's arms from around me. I leaned over and kissed her on the forehead before getting up and wandering around the house. I looked in every room until I found the one I was looking for. I walked into the library, closed the door, and switched the light on.
I looked around the room. There were shelves against every wall in the room, and they were all completely full of books. I looked through the shelves and found an interesting book series to read. It was the House of Night. I picked the first book and laid down on the floor and started reading.
______________________________________I'm not sure how long I had been reading, but I was halfway through the last book in the series. I actually really like the series, and the character Neferet is my favorite. I heard the door creak. I looked over and saw Regina poking her head through the door. She looked at me and furrowed her brows.
"What are you doing up at five in the morning?" She asked.
"I should be asking you the same thing. I already told you. I only need three hours of sleep."
"Oh. Right. Anyway, do you want breakfast?"
"Sure. What are you making?"
"Bacon and eggs."
"Sounds good."
I got up from the floor and bookmarked the page I was on. I put the book back on the shelf, and walked over to Regina. She closed the door, and grabbed my hand, leading me downstairs and into the kitchen.
She got stuff out to make breakfast, and asked, "so how do you like your eggs, dear?"
"Overeasy."
She turned the stove on and had two pans on a burner. One had bacon and the other had eggs in it. She stood there making sure the food didn't burn.
I walked up behind her, and wrapped my arms around her waist. She was still in her silk nightgown. I placed a kiss on her shoulder. I then moved her hair away from her neck, and began kissing it, working my way up to her jawline.
"You know, despite wanting to take it slow, you sure are a tease. Oh, and since you're wearing your clothes from yesterday, you can wear what you'd like from my wardrobe."
"Okay. I'll be teasing you until I'm ready, anyway. I'll be back in a bit."
"Alright dear."
Before I went to change clothes, I leaned over and nibbled on her earlobe. She made a face at me and gasped. I just smirked as I walked out of the kitchen.
I made my way up to Regina's bedroom. I walked over to the closet and began looking through it for something to wear. I looked through Regina's clothes until I found a nice shirt and a pencil skirt. The blouse felt like silk and was a dark grey or blue. I'm not sure which it was, but I liked it. I put the blouse on, along with the black pencil skirt, and found a pair of black heels to wear. I put the heels on and walked back down into the kitchen, ready for breakfast.
Regina turned around with a plate of eggs and bacon in her hands. She looked at me, narrowing her eyes and tilting her head slightly. I looked at her, confused.
"That's one of my nicest blouses. I didn't say you could wear that."
"But you specifically said I could wear what I'd like from your closet. So I like this blouse", I said with a slight grin on my face.
