"Are you actually mad at him for getting his hair cut?" Cristy asked as she sat at the island counter working on an essay also for her online college.

"A little but I just wanna see what he looks like." Megan replied took another bite from the lasagna she was eating. "At least the guys are bonding."

"Did you think they wouldn't?" Jayde asked as she walked in and sat beside Christy.

"I knew they would. Dad's always seemed to like the guys we brought home and Jake has respect for dad. There's just something about Jake that's different than any of the other 'boyfriends' I had. He's so ridiculously respectful to me and he asks me every morning if I wanna be in the vlogs and if I'm having a bad day, he'll drop everything just to make sure I'm okay."

"I've noticed the way he looks at you in his vlogs and in person." Christy chimed in making Megan look up at her. "That boy is head over heels for you. I don't think even Eric looks at the way Jake looks at you."

As if on cue, the front door opened and in walked the Carl, Jake, Tommy, Eric, and Kyle who all went for haircuts. Megan turned around and instantly smiled when she saw Jake's haircut.

"I have to say that I actually like it." Megan said with a smile as Jake walked up to her.

"I'm happy that you approve." Jake replied and pecked Megan's lips.

"Can we still use the cabin?" Megan asked as she turned around.

"Of course, are you guys riding down there or driving?" Carl asked as he tossed the cabin keys. Megan looked at Jake who shrugged his shoulders.

"We're gonna be there for a little bit so I figured we'd ride down there since Jake wanted to learn how to ride."

"You've never ridden a horse, Jake?" Lauren asked making Megan smile once more.

"Never really had a reason or a chance too." Jake replied and sat down next to Megan. "I've never been around horses until I met Megan." Megan felt her insides melt and put her arm around Jake's waist and he put his arm on Megan's shoulders. Jake then kissed the side of her head. Carl grinned and then walked to his man cave downstairs. "Is he okay?"

"Yeah, it's hard for him now that all three of his daughters have boyfriends." Megan replied. "He's used to being the only man in our lives. All of us have moved out of the house and it's sinking in that he's not the number one man anymore."

After sitting around for a little bit longer, Jake and Megan both changed into something nice since he really wanted to take Megan out for dinner while they were in Texas. They decided on Olive Garden. They ordered their food and then had some time to talk.

"I'm a little bit surprised." Megan said as Jake took a drink of his pop.

"Why?" Jake asked in response.

"We dress nice and then you take me to Olive Garden."

"Can't I take my girlfriend some place nice?" Megan smiled.

"Of course, you can. You're just so much more mature than when I met you. Makes me even more in love with you." Jake smiled and the waiter brought their food over. They enjoyed their food and decided on heading back to the house.

Megan and Jake walked the two horses into the eight-stall barn that had been built around the same time that the cabin was. Megan showed Jake how to untack the horses properly and finally, they put the horses into their stalls.

Megan and Jake were joined with Tucker as usual but had JJ, a Saint Bernard Golden Retriever mix, and Patrick, an Irish Fox Terrier, who decided to follow her and Jake on their ride to the cabin.
