***STARTING THIS CHAPTER OFF SHORT. CHAPTERS WILL BE LONGER.***

                     Prologue.

Alex and Tobin left the locker room together after winning their game on the Portland Thorns 7-1. They share an apartment together and their teammates swear they're dating but they aren't. Just very good friends they call it as they flirt with each other all the time. The truth is, Alex did had a crush on Tobin, but didn't tell her because she didn't want to ruin their friendship. Tobin liked Alex too, but didn't tell her for the same reason. The girls were best friends with their teammates Kelley O'Hara and Hope Solo. They could tell that the girls liked each other. Kelley and Hope were already dating and they knew their friends pretty well. One conversation though, could change everything.

Part I Tobin's POV

"Hey Tobs, I'm gonna go get some dinner with Hope. She said she needed to talk to me. Kelley texted me saying she'd be over in about 10 minutes." Alex said opening the door to exit.

"Okay have fun!" I said waving goodbye. She swung around with her hair flipping behind her and shut the door. I plopped on the couch and thought 'now what'? With the remote in sight, I reached for it, not being able to grab it. I sat there for a minute with my arm stretched out when the door opened and Kelley walked in.

"Are you really that lazy to just get up and grab the remote?" she joked putting her bags on the counter, "I brought food." I immediately got up and rummaged through the bags.

"So where's Alex?" she asked.

"Where's Hope." I smirked.

"Lunch. Why?"

"Because that's where Alex is, dummy." I chuckled.

"Ohhhhh." Kelley said quietly.

I continued to unpack all the junk food Kelley brought until an idea popped in my head.

"Kelley!" I yelled startling her.

"What what what! Jesus Toby you scared me half to death!"

"We should have movie night with you, me, Hope, and Alex!" I said jumping up and down.

"Oh so you can make a move on Alex?" Kelley winked.

"You shush. No. Maybe. You never know. It'll be fun!" I said childishly.

Kelley nodded, "Okay okay. We'll have movie night on one condition."

I pouted, "What is it." she smiled.

"I pick the movie. No matter what." she said. I glared at her. She had mischief in her eyes.

"Fiiiiine." I said. Kelley smiled and helped me put groceries away.
