Mum💙: Harvey I TOLD you that you had to be sure. I can't go driving around because you don't know how to make up your mind.
Me: I know and I'm sorry but I'm certain this time. I swear. I don't want to do this anymore.😔
Mum💙: Fine, might be a while. I have to call your siblings in and bring them with.
Me: Why?
Mum💙: What else would you like me to do? Not everthing can be how you want it Harvey. I have no one to watch them. They can't stay home alone.
*Max😈 has entered the chat*
Me: Yes! See right there? Max can watch them!
Max😈: Excuse me? I'm busy😡
Me: Fine. Whatever.😒 They can come.
I threw my jacket on and waited by the fence post. My phone vibrated: 8 notifications from; Nik😜✌, Gonzalez🏈, Danny🐄, Jake🍰, Jade🚫
I was in no mood to talk to any of them but decided to see what they had to say anyway.
Nik😜✌: Soooooo what did u decide?
Nik😜✌: Do u like her r not?
Me: No. Ur right. Night

Me: He didn't
Danny🐄: Yeah huh! He stormed off the field, had a metal breakdown of some sort.
Me: I don't care😒

I shoved my phone back in my pocket and wiped angrily at my wet cheek. A car pulled up, and the window rolled down. "Need a lift?" Mum asked as the door slid open.
I ran over and climbed in, turning away from my siblings. "Har-vey? Do you want a brownie?" I turned to my sweet little sister, Tilly.
"No thanks Tills."
"I made them all by myself though!" She shoved a warm brownie in my face. I shook my head.
"I'll take it!" Max reached back from the front seat and snatched the brownie out of her hands, shoving it in him mouth in one bite.
"Maaaaaaax," Tilly scolded. "That was Harvey's!"
He laughed. "Sorry, but they're good," he apologized as he began tickling her.
"Max! Let go of your sister."
"We're just playing Mummy," Timmy giggled.
"I know, just not in the car please."
When we arrived home, the others headed off to their rooms, not saying a word. I began to follow.
"Harvey Kitt Mills! You are not going to bed without supper. Get your butt in here and eat," Mum called from the kitchen.
I sat on a stool at the counter and rested my head on my fist, watching her prepare my meal. "I don't like it here," I whispered.
Mum swiveled around and frowned. "And why's that?"
I began to break down in tears. "No one likes me there. I don't have any friends. I'm never near Max anymore. I don't fit in. I hate it here!"
"Oh...I'm sorry baby," Mum came around the counter and wrapped her arms around me. "I had a terrible day too but... But it will get better, I promise baby, we're in this together."
She kissed the top of my head and brushed my hair out of my eyes. She stood suddenly and grabbed my hand, something she hadn't done in years. "Come." She guided me to the living room and switched on the television. "I've always wanted to watch this, but Max said no," she laughed as Miss. Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children started. (Great movie btw😂)
"Mum?"
"Yeah?"
"What if...? What if I could have had friends but-. But I messed everything up?"
"Well, just make things right I guess, or find new friends. Remember what I said when we moved here? You and your brother-."
"Got to stick together," I finished with her.
"Yeah," she whispered, kissing my head once more.
"I got to go," I said standing up and running upstairs to my new room.
I opened the door to see Max leaning against the wall as he listened to music and texted. "Got a sec?" I looked down, ashamed that I asked my brother if he had time to talk.
He removed his earbuds and put his phone down, his eyes were slightly pink. He looked at me painfully, as if I did something to intentionally hurt him, then looked away briefly. "What do you want Harvey?"
"Uh...? Nevermind," I whispered, a bit hurt. I walked out and began to close the door when I remembered. "Oh! Jade wants to know which of the three bonds are the strongest."
"K," was all he said.
