Chapter 6

Three weeks later

Jackie's P.O.V

I wake up and my neck is killing me, then I remembered....CLAIRE. I hate that little bitch! (sorry for the language but I really can't stand her) Then I remembered something else, Logan. Where is he? Is he awake? Or is he.... I get interrupted by someone coming in, it's Eric.

"Hey" I say as soon as he walks over to me.

"Hey, are you feeling okay." He asked concerned

"Yeah," I say giving him a fake smile "can I ask you something?"

"Sure, anything" he says with a smile that makes me melt....wait,..WHAT

"Have you checked on Logan?" I ask

"Yeah, he's not doing too good."

"What? What's wrong with him?"

"He doesn't remember anything, he only remembers the day he-" Eric cuts off

"The day he what?" I ask

"It was nothing really." He says obviously lying, but I'm not gonna get into Logan's business.

A doctor walks in with a clipboard.

"You're aloud to leave if you feel like it," He says "your neck is surprisingly healed completely."

"Okay" I say with a slight smile "I'll leave today."

All I really wanted to do was go to Logan's room and figure out what's wrong. The doctor leaves and Eric looks happy. I smile at him and go to the bathroom, and I get dressed. I walk out of the bathroom and see Eric smiling at me, for some reason, that smile makes me just melt.

Eric's P.O.V

I think I have Jackie wrapped around my finger, I hope so because she's really pretty. I just want hop in bed with her and take a ride if you know what I mean. I really want to have her because once I'm done with her, she'll be heart broken and run to Logan. Aren't I so nice? I do some girl and they go crying to Logan once I leave. See, I'm the true bad boy in school, I just don't like that going around. Because who would want to marry or date a guy who you know is gonna break your heart in the end? Logan was just stupid enough to get that reputation for me, but he is a pretty hardcore bad boy. I mean seriously, he killed his dad when he was twelve that is some hardcore bad boy right there.

"I wanna see Logan" Jackie says to me

"Okay" I said taking her hand and leading her to Logan's room.

Logan's P.O.V

This strange guy that came in my room a second ago walks in again, but with a girl. The girl is actually pretty hot, I wonder if she's single.

"Hello" I said to the girl in my I-want-to-go-out-with-you-voice

"Logan, you're awake" she says coming over and hugging me, I really like how this is going.

"Hi, who are you?" I ask her

"You mean you don't remember me?" She ask kind of sad

"Sorry, I don't remember a lot now"

"I'm Jackie Ellis, I liv-lived next door to you, I was being beat up by your ex-girlfriend and you saved me. Then we had a little argument and you left. Then you fell out of a tree and broke your neck, now you don't remember anything"

After she said all that I just paused for a second, everything that happened I'm my life played like a video in my head. All the times I quarreled with my little sister, the day I found out I had my little Tawny. Everything just came back to my memory. Then I did something I didn't even expect.

I kissed Jackie.
