Snow began to fall down hard on Muscle Tower. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to the Tower in time. The shoveled road filling back up, and the great snow dunes growing higher and higher. The only light out came from the moon.
"A full moon," I say hurrying, but still looking up at it, "What a sight. I feel energized just looking at it."
I shake my head and continue forward, trying not to be even more late than I already am. Eventually, I make it to Muscle Tower before the snow completely buried the road.
"Look who finally joined the party!" One of the soldiers shouted, "S'bout time ya showed up. Wanna take my shift for the morning?"
I sigh, but nod and then head to my post.
My shift is really just walking around the 3rd level. Granted, Major Metalitron is impressive to look at until three second later you realize that he's just going to sit there until his batteries run dry.
"You know what Major," he never responds, doubt he even knows what is being said to him, "I should quit. I have a wife, and I want to get back to her." I pause looking at the metallic floor, "I have to lie and say I'm fishing with the people in Jingle Village." I eventually go quiet, thinking of all the deeds I've done as a part of the Army.
I look at my watch to see that I only have an hour left before the morning shift starts, so I make my way up to the 4th floor.
"Ahh, you aren't the usual guard are you?" Ninja Murasaki says as he pours his 4 brothers and himself some tea.
"Yes sir, Murasaki sir" I say bowing and then going to my post. Off to the distance I can hear the sounds of something being worked on. It stops and then I hear someone talking to Ninja Murasaki.
"Interesting indeed Dr. Flappe" Murasaki says as he and the shorter man talk and point at papers on a table.
"And thanks to Dr.Gero's schematics,"
Flappe says with a bit of jealously, "we were able to create a better android. One that won't need batteries and one that won't run on just one emotion!"
Murasaki and Flappe laugh and continue to discus their "Achievements." I wasn't impressed, if anything there would be some flaw with it and it'll make White angry again. I continue to think for myself, just trying to make the time pass when I hear Murasaki's radio go off.
Of course I couldn't exactly hear what was being said, but I could tell it was General White.
They began to whisper so I left it at that, and I continued to patrol waiting for my shift to end.
"Hey! Soldier!!!" I run to face Muraski then, "Sir?"
"Congratulations, you've been promoted!" Muraski's tone wasn't all that assuring. Something's up.
"I have? What's my position now?"
"You'll see.."
Next thing I know, everything goes black and all I hear is muffled voices. I could tell one was General White but the others were harder to put a face to. Everything starts to fade again and then suddenly I wake up.
I was under bright lights, and on a cold table. I couldn't feel a side of my body but I looked around to see Dr.Flappe and some one else. That someone else noticed I was awake and then in a flash I was knocked out.
What are they doing to me?
