Love Under Attack

Chapter 6

AN: The video is just so you can see Raven and how everyone else sees her.
  In order to keep Aleah from asked questions, Riley and Raven told her that she was going on a scavenger hunt to find her abba. With that,Riley and Falcon lead the way down the street. Falcon was so excited to be working again that he actually shaked from excitement. Raven held hands with Aleah while she skipped behind the team working in front.
  Every once in a while Raven would catch herself admiring Riley. It would start out innocent and be at a professional respect. After awhile, it escalated to admiring her body and the way she moved. Once it got to that point, she had to pull herself back to reality.  She,Raven Jade Worth, is a lesbian. While frowned upon in the military, it isn't unheard of. The big problem for Raven is that her ability to tell if someone is also a lesbian is poor.  The problem has gotten her into multiple situations that were awkward and embarrassing. So,she made it a point to never make the first move.
   Riley missed being in active duty. She was trained to move and act fast. Not sit at home and wait. Looking for Adam with Falcon relight the fire in her soul to get back into combat. But,for the time being, this will hold her over till the time comes.
  After about 15 minutes of searching, Riley notices a bloody hand print on a tree. While the first piece of evidence,it was a really bad clue. The hand print indicated toward the woods. When Raven realized that,she groaned. Loudly. She was going to have to go into the woods to find someone who she wants dead just to make sure he is alive. That just goes to show how unlucky she actually is.
   In her frustration, she failed to notice Riley and Falcon were already in the woods. Once she realized that, she started running as fast as Aleah could toward them. That action resulted in her getting to hear Riley's beautiful laugh. Both women were unable to keep their smiles off of their faces.
   This short stop in movement caused Falcon to bark. The working dog was getting to do something he loved. He had no intentions on stopping until the mission was completed. Everyone started walking again after he voiced his displeasure.
   Aleah was starting to get tired and cranky. All she wanted was to go home and nap. When that became clear to Raven she picked Aleah up and put her on her back. At that moment Falcon went ballistic. The muscular dog found Adam, alive. But the problem being that he was armed and prepared to shoot anyone who came near him. Especially Raven.
