The Best Gift Pt. 2

The man quietly laughed and inhaled to respond. "Well, you see, I've decided that I've had enough watching you suffer over Suga constantly being gone so I'm taking you instead."

Min-ah scoffed and looked at the man. "I knew it was you, Taehyung. I'm perfectly fine with my relationship to Yoongi so I don't need you. I knew what I was getting myself into when I started dating Yoongi and that included his long trips so no, no thank you, I don't need you to 'take me instead'." She spat those last words rudely towards Taehyung.

"Alright alright. But don't come running to me when Suga decides that he loves another place more than here. Or he met another girl that he loves more than you." Taehyung held his hands up in surrender as if he was innocent in the first place.

"YAH! Taehyung!!! What are you doing?!" A voice a little too familiar came and barged in the room. "YOONGI!!!" Min-ah screamed and ran over to him and hid behind him. He turned to look at her. "Mina, are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Min-ah shook her head in response and Yoongi kissed her forehead lightly. He cocked his head to the side to look at Taehyung and winked with the eye that Min-ah couldn't see.

Yoongi then put both of his hands on Min-ah's arms and slowly knelt down in front of her. She was confused at first but quickly caught on. She gasped. "Yoongi! What are you doing?" He put his hands on one knee and began to speak.

"Mina. I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to be here with you for a while. The fact that I couldn't see you or barely even hear your voice was destroying me but I'm here now." He turned back to look at Taehyung and nodded. Taehyung smiled and left the room.

"Mina. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I don't want to ever have to leave you again but if I do, just know that I'll always come to save you if you're ever in trouble, just like I did a few minutes ago. You're my one and only and you have been for the past 4 years. Being with you makes me so happy and I get excited to know that I'm going to see you again because you're my best friend, the love of my life, and now Mina, will you be mine forever? Will you spend the rest of your life with me? Can we have more great adventures and can we grow old together? Every day feels like we started dating yesterday because it's always exciting and there's always some enjoyable feeling of being able to see you again. Will you marry me?"

Min-ah was sobbing when Yoongi had finished and she just stood there with her face buried in her palms. Yoongi was nervous because this wasn't a part of the plan. He just stayed on one knee and silently waited.

Min-ah shortly calmed herself and pulled Yoongi up by the arms. She caught her breath and quickly responded. "Yes! Yes of course I'll marry you! I'd be the happiest woman in the world if I got to marry you. I love you so much Yoongi!"

Yoongi exhaled and started to breathe normally again. The rest of the Bangtan Squad came in with party poppers and a cake. Yoongi picked Min-ah up in his arms and spun her around before setting her down again and planting a big kiss on her lips. All the boys cheered and one of them put on some music.

After a few hours, the Bangtan boys stayed to clean the place up but Yoongi and Min-ah went back home. Min-ah was giggling at everything Yoongi was telling her in the car about their trip. Once they arrived home, Yoongi quickly got out and circled around to the other side to open the door for Min-ah and they walked to the door.

"But when did you get in town, Yoongi?" Min-ah asked him. He chuckled and responded "I got in town late last night and I stayed at the BTS dorm with the rest of the guys." There was a short pause before Min-ah spoke again. "What about my kid napping and Taehyung and the other man? And what abo-" She was cut off by Yoongi stealing a kiss. "Everything that happened today was planned out for my proposal. I meant what I said though. About coming to save you if you're ever in trouble. I'll make sure that you're always safe."

He pulled her into a hug and when they parted, he unlocked the door and opened it. They stepped inside and Min-ah's face lit up. The whole place was decorated in Christmas lights and the fireplace was burning. The TV light was on and they walked over to it to find a note. The note read "Enjoy your movie night tonight, lovebirds. Love, Bangtan."

The whole atmosphere and everything that happened today left Min-ah speechless. "I'm so happy to be marrying you, Yoongi. I love you so much!" Yoongi pulled her into a warm hug and quietly said, "I love you too babygirl. Merry Christmas and thank you for being my gift."
