Crystal’s POV:
I soon forget about whoever was in front of the tent and I turn back to Peter. It felt odd not to feel him breathing as I laid my hand on his chest. If only he was really here to listen to all I had just said… I missed him so much.
I walked around to the other side of the bed and snuggled in beside him, laying my head on his chest. When he was alive, he would always wrap his arms around me. Now, there was nothing. You may think that it’s gross for me to still be snuggling with him like this, but I could honestly care less.
I knew I had to say my final goodbye soon… and too be honest, I wasn’t prepared to do that. I am never prepared to say goodbye.
Especially to the love of my life.

Felix’s POV:
I smiled as our shadows lowered onto the deck surrounding the gruesome twosome and the crew. Rumple slapped me in the face and shoved me backwards, but lucky for him I have good balance.
“What did you do?!” He yelled as the shadows came closer. The boys and I started laughing, well, cackling is more like it.
“You see, Rumple…our loyalty to Pan is never ending. We decided as a collective to cut out our shadows and make a bit of a shadow army with them so that they could help us.” I looked into the glowing gray eyes of my shadow and smiled.
“NOW!” I yelled. Within seconds, the shadows zipped and circled all around the crew, Hook and Rumple as the boys and I split up to go and look for Peter’s heart dust. It had to be somewhere on the ship. With it, maybe, just maybe Crystal would have something of his.
Different hiding areas flashed through my head as the boys and I sprinted up and down the decks and throughout the cabins. Still, we found nothing. We ran back to the main deck as the clouds became blacker than what they were before; and a slight wind was beginning to pick up. I knew a storm was coming soon, so we had to act quick.
“Felix!” One of the younger boys called, “Around Hooks neck!” I looked up onto the helm deck and saw a large bottle hanging from Hook’s pants, tied to his belt. Inside, I saw Peter’s heart dust.
I practically jumped the stairs as I went to retrieve the bottle. Our shadows were making Hook and Rumple delirious so that they couldn’t focus on trying to hurt us; instead, they tried to keep their sanity.
My shadow turned up next to me and in my head, I sent a message to it to hold Hook back as I grabbed the bottle. Hook took fast notice as he began to fight my shadow off. I smiled and jumped from the deck, ready to make my getaway; but as I looked up to the sky, I saw lightning flashing and heard thunder crashing.
I knew then that it was too late to save Peter… Neverland would be gone within minutes, and we would all be dead. Crystal was too late, and so was I.
"I'm sorry, my friend," I said through tears, "I'm sorry, Peter..."

Crystal’s POV:
The thunder and lightning got more apparent as I realized what was happening. Neverland was about to destroy itself, meaning that I had failed. I stood up and jumped up to stand beside Peter. Rain began smacking down on the roof of his tent.
Tears began flooding from my eyes as I pulled Peter up and held him close to me, his head resting against my chest as I sobbed into his hair, his poor body limp.
“Peter, I’m so sorry… It’s my entire fault. I’ve failed in saving Neverland, and now thanks to me,” I choked, “Everything and everyone is going to die because of me. I couldn’t save them, because I never found out what true magic is… I’m s-s-so sorry… I’ve failed them and I’ve most importantly failed you… I’m so, so, so sorry love…”
Wind gusted fast, making the tent flap around. Within seconds I knew that it would soon rip itself to shreds. I laid Peter back down and laid my head on his chest as I bawled. Composing myself as I knew I only had seconds left, I lifted up my head and cupped his cold face.
“I love you, Peter Pan…” I whispered. Suddenly, a red heart appeared on his chest. My eyes widened as I realized that it was his! I knew exactly what to do; I gently pushed his heart back into his chest and I waited for something to happen, but it didn’t.
Another thought ran through my mind; and I knew that even if it didn’t work, it would be how I wanted to die.
I leaned down, and despite the fact that the entire world of Neverland was crashing around us, I pressed my lips softly to his. A blast of impact and green sparkles burst from our lips, and spread all throughout Neverland. The wind, thunder, and lightning stopped.
My legs made me jump up and run to the flap of the tent to peer outside. Overhead, the moon was now shining brightly and all of the dying plants and animals were recuperating and becoming healthy again. I did it! I smiled to myself in pride through tears as I heard a voice speak softly behind me.
“Crystal…?” I turned around slowly; my eyes fell to the floor and brought themselves up to meet another pair of eyes. Beautiful, beautiful eyes. Green eyes.
Peter’s eyes.
