As you cautiously investigated the dense brush of the NGL with your three friends: Gon, Killua, and Kite, your eyes kept landing on Kite as he fearlessly led the way ahead. You hadn't known him for a long time, but you grew to like him much more than you thought you would. Although he was the 'strong and silent type', giving off a serious and non-romantic vibe, you knew deep down he was incredibly kind and equally caring. After observing him in past events-- whether he was interacting with his team or with animals throughout the forest, you could tell he was a tender person at heart.

Shaking off all the positive things you could say about him, you returned your focus to the original mission--investigating the Chimera Ant nest.

You closed your eyes and took a deep breath so as to clear your clouded head.

I can't let my personal feelings interfere with the task at hand, you thought, fixated on the fact you must help the others the same way you'd help Kite if the circumstances deemed necessary.

While Kite's En scanned the majority of the landscape, you noticed his expression change to one of worry. He stopped without warning and held up his hand, indicating everyone following to do the same.

"Kite..what's wrong?" you asked.

"I'm picking up on something that is capable of harnessing a great amount of Nen. It feels like a threat. A monster perhaps?"

His sentence dropped to a mumble that was barely audible as he soon realized the hostile nature of the creature within his En.

From across the forest, at the edge of the nest, a royal guard peered curiously over the edge, eager to test their newfound strength. Its claws dug into the structure, giddy with the discovery of its first victim.

Before you could ask him another question, he jumped off the ground and frantically called for you, Gon, and Killua to escape.

"Don't stop running until you've left the NGL! Get away from me!" he screamed, his voice trembled, though he was trying to keep his composure.

His crazed eyes pierced each of you like a spear, and you froze in fear as you glanced directly behind him and noticed a cat-like humanoid gliding towards him at inhuman speed. Its eyes were large and filled with sadistic delight, its face plastered with a psychotic smile, its sole intent to kill. Its murderous aura could be felt from a great distance, and while turning to check on Gon and Killua, Killua had already grabbed his friend and bolted away from the scene.

Without thinking, you pushed Kite down just as the creature's claws barely scathed by him before landing on the ground before you, hunched over, and grinning maniacally--ready to attack again. If you had waited any sooner, his arm would have been taken clean off his body.*

Because the push was so unexpected, Kite had to take a second to gather himself before nodding and thanking you with his eyes. Turning back to face it, you heard obnoxious laughter instantaneously erupt behind you as Kite summoned his weapon. Being a conjurer yourself, working up to a specialist, you took this opportunity to materialize your own.*

Without looking or speaking to Kite, each of you knew that the best plan would be to hit and then run as far as possible.

Just as Kite's Crazy Slots shrieked an unsavory "4!"*you settled on your own weapon of choice as well.

Your power was based off of the planets in the solar system. If you picked 'Venus' Rush', you created lakes of hot, bubbling magma used to engulf anything in its way. Likewise, if you picked 'Earth's Payback', you created large drills to bury into the ground, disrupting the plates, creating strong quakes that made the ground shake tremendously causing catastrophic damage and intense landslides. Each 'planet' had horrific potential, and if used with malicious intent, the results could be devastating. The planets themselves did not appear of course, but you used their elements to create weapons with numerous possibilities.
