AUTHORS NOTE:
This story is based off of Wolfs Rain. I don't own the original characters, just the fan characters. I hope you enjoy reading my Fan Fiction. =D
CHAPTER 1
I skormed around my little cardboard box. A whimper came out of me. It is freezing cold. 'I only wish my family didn't abandon me. I wish that I was good enough for them. I'm only just a skinning-pathetic runt.' I was thinking to myself. It only happened two weeks ago when my whole pack left the city without me. I tried to walk with them, but my mom kicked me and screamed "GET OUT OF MY FACE! YOU PATHETIC PICE OF JUNK! I WISH I NEVER HAD YOU, RUNT!" I held back the tears that were forming in my eyes. Me and my tail got out of there, and into the cold-heart of the city. That's where I found my box, that I'm in.
"Mother is right. I'm just a pice of junk. Nothing! My life is a wast of life. Someone else deserves it, more than I do!" I told myself over and over again. I started to whimper, then I herd footsteps. They where running, and there was a lot of them. I hid under the tiny pice of cloth. I saw the figures pass on bye. There was a girl, who had a loaf of bread, and about six tall guys in blue chasing her. I jumped out and growled at the men. I don't know why I did, it just came natully. Shockingly they jumped back. They tried going around me, but I didn't bugged.
"Sir, what do we do? It's just a kid and a pup. They need food after all." A younger male said with some affection to us.
"What?! She stole food from bakery! and it's our job to catch thieves! No matter what age!"
"You know he's right, about the thing that these are just kids. We just need to teach them what's right, and of corse what's wrong." He said in a quite voice, while he knelt down to pet me behind the ear. "See no harm to us. Hey little girl, come on out. We won't hurt you, I just want to talk ok?" As he said those words, the little figure came out of the dark corner. "Is this your dog, young lady?"
"Hey, I'm no ones' dog! And I'm a wolf you ideit!" I mumbled to him, but he didn't even notice.
"Why sir? Are you going to hurt...the poor thing?" She asked in a quite worry.
"No, but I would be forced to put it in the pound."
"She's mine! Her name is Brownie!"
"Ok thanks, nice pup you have. Hey, would you like to help us out. We can pay you, and give you shelter." He responded with some joy.
"If it's not a problem with your boss?" she glared at the guard that had his arms crossed.
"Only if she dose all here chores, and so dose the pup too!"
"Then it's official, come on kid let's go to your new home!"
