Yesterday was so much fun and I wish it could be like that all the time but, then again, nothing ever truely works out. I can't believe that I went to see him. I mean what was I to expect, him alone waiting for me. Wrong, he was with that girl and I felt so embarrassed that I couldn't stay there any longer.
Well today was just the same. When I got up Max was waiting in my kitchen again. I really wasn't in the mood so I just ignored him and went to the other room.
I had thought I was alone and wanted to watch tv. Cartoons were on and as soon as I put them on Sophie made a sound and I nearly jumped out of my skin. "Oh, my Soph, how long have you been there?" I asked as I went over to pick her up.
She just looked up at me and laughed. "Of course you don't know what I'm saying." I sighed.
"Aww, you two look so adorable together." Max said scaring me for the second time today.
"Really, can't you make some noise or something. You scared me." I said annoyed.
"Maybe next time. Anyways I was here to see if you wanted to hang out again. Maybe it will be fun." He said smiling.
I really didn't want to hang out. What I really wanted was a lazy day and for him to disappear. "Actually I was going to just have a me day today." I said trying to get him to leave.
"Well, that doesn't sound very fun." He said.
My mood was slowly going downhill ehen the door bell rang. "Got it." Britt yelled from the kitchen.
I was kind of curious but Max was still looking at me and when I didn't answer he came over and sat down next to me. I really didn't want to be this close to him. "I will do something, just not with you today." I said shrugging while bouncing Sophie.
Just as it looked like he was going to say something I heard my name. Curious I turned around and what I saw made me smile. "Oh my, Kyle, what are you doing here?" I asked as I passed off Sophie.
"To see my girl of course." He said smiling.
I couldn't stop laughing as I went and hugged him. "You came all this way to see me. What about your job?" I asked while still hugging him.
"Well, my dad owns the company, so I decided to take a mini vacation to see you." He explained.
I couldn't help myself after not seeing him I just couldn't stop myself from kissing him. I think I caught him by surprise but he smiled and kissed me back. I was so happy to see him that I almost forgot Max was still in the room. Almost.
I reluctantly let go of Kyle and turned back towards Max. "I found my new plans. I will be hanging out with Kyle." I said smiling.
"And he is..." Max asked glaring at Kyle.
"Kyle and I have been going out for a couple months now. So Max this is kyle. Kyle this is Max, Joes son." I said introduceing them.
Max looked annoyed and just got up and left, but before he left he whispered in my ear 'watch out, just because he is here, doesn't mean anything.'
I was a little shocked but I recovered quickly and turned around back towards kyle. "What do you want to do today?"
"What's fun around here?" He asked me.
"Well the beach I'm not sure what else there is." I said.
"That sounds like fun. Let's go to the beach." He said.
I went to get ready and left kyle telling he could put his syuff in the spare room across from mine. Since I really didn't get ready yet it was an easy quick shower and change. I chose my favorite bikini and decided to put on some jean shorts and a net top before meeting him in yhe living room.
He ws sitting on the couch watching tv when I got his attention. "Ready to go?"
He turned around and just looked at me for a moment and I smiled a little. He nodded and we headed out to the beach.
As we were walking I noticed he changed into board shorts and a white beader. I was looking at him and he noticed and said "like what you see?"
I blushed and looked away. He smiled nd put his arm around me and we continued to walk.
"So what is the deal with this Max guy?" He asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked while looking at him with a confused look.
He chuckled and said "It seems as though, he doesn't like me."
I really didn't know what to say, then I thought about what Max had whispered to me earlier. "um, I'm not sure, but he'll come around don't worry." I said trying my best to drop the subject.
He just shrugged as we finally arrived at the beach. I set up my stuff and was ready to just relax and tan a little. Before I was able to sit down Kyle came out of nowhere with a surf board. "Where in the world did you get that from?" I asked.
"From Max over there." He said shrugging his shoulders.
Of course Max would be around. I sighed and just turned around to get comfortable on my beach blanket.
Kyle waved at me and ran off to the water and dove right in with the board. Just as I was getting comfortable there was a shadow cast over me. I looked up to see Max standing over me. "What do you want, Max?" I said covering my eyes again.
"Oh, just enjoying the view." He said.
I so wanted him to go somewhere else and I was about to tell him to find somewhere else to go he scooped me up and walked towards the water. My eyes widened and I started to yell at him to put me down, but he wouldn't listen.
He was just about up to his knees in the water and my toes were grazing the wear when he finally threw me into the water. I came back up from under the water gasping for air. When I could finally breathe right again I went over and smacked him on his arm and said "What the hell did you do that for?"
"You looked way too boring on the beach so I decided you should take a little dip. You didn't mind it last time I did it." He said shrugging.
Ok I know I should be mad but for some reason with him there was just something that made me always happy around him. Just as I was about to get out of the water, Kyle came back from surfing. "What's going on here?" He asked looking between us.
"I just thought Jess here needed to go for a little dip." Max said shrugging.
I glared at him and said "well thanks for that but I rather get back to dry land."
As I made my way back to the shore they both watched me smiling and when I turned around I saw them both being buddy, buddy with each other. Great if they start getting along I'm screwed.
When I was dry I got dressed and wanted to go home and shower the dirty sand off of me. Luckily Kyle was out of the water and ready to go.
Back home I went straight to my bathroom and stripped down and took a nice long hot shower. When I felt I was clean enough I shut the water off and climbed out and wrapped my towel around myself. I got dressed and went out to go and get some lunch but quickly decided not to as I saw the two guys again being buddy, buddy.
Ugh, why do I have to deal with them two getting along. I went to get my phone and saw that I had a message on it.
Hey, what You doing? Text me back ASAP.
