The view was different. No actual sky could be seen. The ground was filled with vibrant flowers all over the place. Not a single sound could be heard anywhere around. The blonde stood there not moving a muscle. All he remembered that he was asleep then soon ended up there in the mysterious place.
'Where am I?' Continuing to think slightly confused he felt a warm body behind him. "I was hoping you would make it." Cloud held his breath frozen. He remembered that same feminine voice he was use to hearing all the time. 'Is it really... No it can't she's gone.' "Come on Cloud say something." No doubt about it. He knew he wasn't just hearing things. The ex-soldier swallowed releasing his breath that felt like he held for eternity. "Aerith?"
She lightly giggled. "I was hoping you didn't forget me." The flower girl moved back from him and he turned to be facd to face with the the brunette he missed. "Is it really you?" He was still in lots of disbelief thinking she was just in his dreams and he couldn't stop thinking about her.
"Of course it's really me. I brought you here...so I could see you." The ex-soldier looked into her emerald eyes that sparkled with a bit of shock. "Y-you wanted to see me?" Aerith nodded and diverted her eyes away from his. "I miss you Cloud." "I miss you to." Cloud brought Aerith into an embrace.
Having Aerith in his arms made him feel at ease. He missed her as much as she missed him, maybe even more. He loved seeing her everyday, seeing her caring for her flowers. The beautiful smile she always had no matter what the situation was. Even her emerald eyes that sparkled no matter where she went.
They both soon pulled back. Cloud couldn't take his eyes away from her. She was here in front of him, beautiful as she always was. Aerith looked up at Cloud to see him looking at her. She smiled with a slight blush and looked away. He slightly chuckled and cupped her cheek in his hand as he made her look at him. The flower girl looked into his mako infused eyes getting lost in the gaze.
Being so close to Aerith made Cloud have a different feeling. His heart raced a little as he continued to look at Aerith not breaking the gaze. She looked so beautiful. It seemed as if time stopped as they continued to gaze at each other. Cloud couldn't take the silence anymore.
"I wish I could still be with you." "I do to. I guess were just gonna have I make this time memorable." "Yea. I'll make sure it is."
Cloud inched his face closer to Aerith's then there lips connected. Aerith's eyes fluttered close as she responded to the kiss.
Cloud's mind became blank. Her lips were so soft, he felt like he was in heaven. A spark was in the kiss and neither of them broke it.
Aerith soon pulled back breathless as she look at Cloud. "I love you Aerith." He just had to confess his love for her but it saddened him. He could never be with her since he was still alive and she was dead. The ex-soldier looked away not wanting to make eye contact with her. All it would do was just bring back pain of not being able to be with her. The brunette slightly frowned then made him look at her.
"I love you to Cloud." She forced a smile knowing what he was thinking about. "Don't worry. We can be together someday." "That'll be forever A. I wanna be with you now." "I know Cloud. Just hang in there for me okay. You can always visit me here and remember, I'll always be by your side." She softly kissed him. "It's time for you to head back." His heart ached hearing her day that. "Alright." Aerith let go of his hand and he started to slowly disappear. There time together was over.
