After a few minutes you and Benji exit the ski lift. You walk on and take a deep breath. Then you notice a familiar face sitting on a bench behind you. It's Aubrey. "Hey Aubrey" you say turning to her. The blonde looks up from a small book and closes it fast. "Hey (Y/n)" she smiles and walks towards you to give you a hug. You hug her a bit confused since she never seemed like the girl who's into hugs.
In the moment she releases you from the hug Benji snatches the book from her.
"Hey! Give that back to me!" Aubrey yells.
"Let's see what a dirty imagination our good friend Aubrey has" he teases her.
"Dude give it back" you just say a bit annoyed.
Aubrey takes her book back then. "Let's just go to the lodge ok? I'm freezing." You say crossing your hands in front of your chest. Benji nods. "You guys can go, I'm still waiting for uh... the others." She shutters a bit. "By 'others' do you mean Stacie?" Benji smirkes at the blonde.
She starts to blush "Wh-what? What makes you think that?" She says nervous. You giggle " Leave the poor girl alone Benji. Let's go" you say pointing to the small path leading into the woods. "Fine" the brunette man says and you two walk along the small path leading to the lodge.
The two of you arrive at the lodge after about half an hour of walking through the 20 cm high snow. In front of the lodge you see Chloe and Jesses younger sisters Leila and Cara. Jesse is no where to be seen.
"Hey" you say and smile at you best friend Leila. "God it's good to see you again." Leila says as you release her from your hug. You then pull her aside. "Are you still into..." you look around to make sure no one is listening "Luke?". Leila blushes and nods lightly. You just shake your head at your head over heals in love friend.
Just then Jesse opens the door of the lodge. "Where did he come from?" You asks raising your eyebrows. "I have no idea" Leila whispers "but I'm happy cause I'm about to freeze my ass off out here" she laughs as everyone enters.
"Make yourself at home" Jesse says as he throws his jacket in a corner. He and Benji then go into the kitchen to 'celebrate with the good stuff'. Stacie and Aubrey then throw the door open and walks in laughing. "Well there are the two lo-" just before you can finish your sentence Leila covers your mouth giggling. Aubrey throws you one of her evil glares. Chloe stays quiet most of the time. "I'll go unpack my stuff, (Y/n) " you then hear Leilas voice behind you as Luke and Beca enter the room. You just nod and watch you best friend walk upstairs to her room.
Just as Leila closes the door behind her Aubrey speaks up. "Ok Beca I know we didn't get along that well in college but I can't watch Leila steal your man without you even noticing!" You raise your eyebrow and everyone looks at Aubrey, who is standing in the middle of the room. "What are you talking about?!" You say ready to defend you friend. " Calm your tits (Y/n). I'm just saying that we should show her that Luke is YOUR man." A smile creeps over Becas face. "Go on" she then says. "We should prank her... I already have something special in mind to show who Leila is messing with..."
