Finding Love In The Shadows (Nico Di Angelo leo valdez)

W- WHAT!??

I closed the door to the shower stall. I was so emotionally tired it hurt. Last night, when being walked to my cabin by Leo, I was very desperately kissed... And I very desperately kissed back... I feel awful! How could I do that to Nico? Just because children of Aphrodite are not supposed to fall in love so easily, I did I fell so hard.

I do love Nico Di Angelo.. But we are polar opposite.. I mean we like the same music, but he has such a dark aurora to him...

There was a knock on the stall as I was drying my hair.

"Bella?! Come out now! It's Nico and Leo" My brother called out. "OKAY GET OUT OF THE GIRLS ROOM".

I sliped a shirt on and some shorts quickly, my hair drying naturally fast. I ran out to see a large group, watching something.

I pushed passed all the campers and saw Leo Valdez, Percy Jackson, Jason Grace, and Nico Di Angelo, weapons drawn and they were shouting.

"You can't do that to her Nico! Who do you think you are?" Jason shouts, motioning to the crowd.

"You have no right-"

"I HAVE EVERY RIGHT NICO!" He yells loudly, making Nico whimper...

Jason spots me in the crowd and walks over to me.

"JASON LEVE HER OUT OF IT" Nico screams.

My heart races, I was scared and confused.

Leo growls and shoves Nico hard

"How dare you use her like that Nico!"

The crowd goes silent as my knees buckle and I fall to my ass. Lies.. Lies.. Lies they had to be! Nico would never use me.. Would he?

"To just use her as a cover up?" Jason growls.

Percy hadnt said anything, he just looked really guilty. Nico looked to Percy, his eyes showed a broken expression

"Are you going to say anything?" His voice was so heart breaking I just wanted to hold him.... I was pulled to my feet and Nico was pulled to me.

"Tell her Nico, tell her exactly what I saw"

Nico looks down and bites his lip "Bella.. I'm so sorry, but Jason- ja- Jason caught me and Percy kissing" he whispers in my ear.

((BOOOOOOOOOOOM TAKE THAT NON PERNICO SHIPPERS!))

I cover my mouth and take a deep breath, this couldn't be happening...

I snap my head toward Percy, his eyes pleaded 'do not tell' . I scan the crowd and find Annabeth. She looked worried for her boyfriend, her first love... The love of her life.

I raise my hand and swipe it accross Nico's cheek, a loud clap noise echoed, making people gasp, some laugh.

Tears prickled my eyes

"We are over...." I cry as the first tear slips out.

I escape his reach for me and run straight through the crowd of people. I run, and I run, as fast as my small legs can carry me. When I do stop running I was in the middle of the forest.

I sink to my knees and scream in frustration.

"WHY MOM!? WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DO THIS TO ME!?" I sob horridly, it was very horrendous.

I cry into my hands as I feel a warm breeze. I look up and gasp. The most beautiful woman was in front of me, long black hair and beautiful golden eyes.

"M- mom?" That had to be the only possibility.. I mean she was inhumanly beautiful.

She smiles softly and holds her hand out "walk with me dear"

I grab her hand and the whole scene changes. We weren't in the frozen Forrest's outside of Camp, but we were on a beautiful beach, over looking crystal clear waters.

She was dressed in a long silk dress, that dragged along the coffee colored sand. She motions me to walk with her, but when I lift my leg my smooth skin makes contact with soft silk.

I too was wearing beautiful cloths. A tunic type top with a silk skirt... It was all so beautifully elegant.

I follow her and she smiles down at me "your so beautiful Bella"

"Well... I am your daughter" I blush, looking at the water.

"That's true" her dress waves in the breeze "do you know were we are?" She stops walking, facing the ocean.

I take a second to look around, far behinds us was a cliff that came out of the edge of the beach, my eyes follow to the top of it, but the sun was to bright to see.

"I do not" I return my attention to my mother.

She smiles and steps into the water "this is my birth place" she smiles.

"This is were you rose from the shell thing?" I ask, tilting my head.

She laughs and shakes her head "No, they tell my birth as if it was some beautiful thing, it was quite horrendous. I did not rise up on a shell, I was spat onto the sand, but I was still so beautiful" she brushes her hair away from her face.

I didn't speak, having a feeling she wasn't done talking. She looked back at me.

"Step into the water"

I bite my lip and step into the clear blue water, my body getting tingles. the wind started blowing, causing my hair and my dress to flow behind me.

The water at my feet started bubbling

"What's going on!?" I yelp, tying to move.

My mothers eyes widen as she cores her mouth "Bella! Your... A maiden" her golden eyes sparkled.

"What does that mean?" I whine, my skin tingling as if it had fallen asleep.

"You are a true form of beauty, not only are you my daughter but you are pure and full of heroism. You are a maiden of Love" she smiles, waving her hand.

The scene disappears and we were back in the cold forest.

"Bella, go to the oracle. There is a quest I want you to complete"

She shimmers then disappears.

Okay... I know, I'm just as confused as you are, but I guess if your Olympian mother tells you to go see the red headed Oracle, that's what you do.

After asking a few people were the oracle was, I got some Hecate kid to lead me there.

Once at the entrance to the cave, I got a little creeped out. I took a deep breath and walked in.

I did as the kid told me to.

"My name is Bella Shane" I took anouther step "I am the daughter of Aphrodite and I am here on my mother behalf"

The cave shimmers and I was in a room full of nice furniture and weapons all over the wall.

A girl with bright red hair was on a green couch, reading a book. She looks up at me and smiles.

"Bella... I have been waiting for you, shall we get started?"
