Impossible!

So a few days earlier this week, Jade called me up on the phone to fangirl over "Diary ng Panget" (Diary of an Ugly Girl in English), our favorite "tagalog" book. Suddenly, I brought up the subject of her "brother" and his "real crush".

"Nah, they kind of fought again." Jade replied.

"What? Really? Why?" I asked. But deep inside, I felt like I had another chance, once again!

"I don't really know, and because of that I'm annoyed with her," She replied. 

"Aaaw," I said as I started pouting.

"But he said from now on he hates girls. Ugh." 

Then for a moment there, I froze. 

'He hates girls.'

After hearing that, I felt like my "chance" disappeared, and it kind of told me not to hope anymore. NOPE. I TOLD YOU LAILA HE'LL NEVER LIKE YOU. UH-HUH.

Later on, I said good bye and the sentence "he hates girls" kept repeating over and over through my head. 

I just can't forget about it. *sigh* By the way, why am I even thinking about having a love-life in the first place? 

P.S., "He" reminds me of Cross Sandford, because he takes things seriously, and kind of has a sensitive and annoying personality. (from what Jade says) ._.
