{Nova's POV}
Today was my birthday. My 17th birthday. I still wish my mom was here to celebrate my birthday with me but sometimes I'm happy. She was the only one in my family who didn't support my decision.
My girlfriend,is coming to my house today and yes I'm lesbian.
I invited a few people over today.
I invited Jessica, Skylar my girlfriend, Chloe, and Tilly.
They're all our best friends.
Then the door bell rang.
I opened the door too see all 4 people.
"Come on in guys" I said.
"Hi Nova!" Skylar said as she walked in and kissed my cheek.
She had a sad look on her face.
"Why do you look so sad?" I asked her.
"I'm not sad. I'm just tired." She said
I still don't believe her.
We all walked into the kitchen and put meat and cheese on our tacos my dad made us.
After we finish eating we played on our phones.
Skylar looked like she was going to cry.
But I bet it was nothing.
Next we went to the kitchen to get some cake. It was a rainbow cake. It had my name on it and And my age.
It was a strawberry cake. My favorite.
When we finished eating that we went back to my room and played on the Xbox. We played Minecraft. Skylar sat down next to me she grabbed my hand and we intertwined fingers.
I hope this girl never leaves me i truly love her.
She got up and when to the bathroom.
Her phone went off. She got a text it was from her parents.
I read the texts being the noisy person I am.
I started crying.
