Hello all.

So I have to start updating every other Monday because my life is just really crazy right now and I don't have a lot of time to write.

May's POV
February 14, 6:21 am

May had woken up twenty minutes ago, but remained in bed. Last night was the first night that someone hadn't been there when she fell asleep or there when she woke up. She was getting better. She really was.

May got out of bed and walked to the library. Yes, she could walk now. She was still a little wobbly, but whatever.

The library was dark, save for a single lamp sitting on a table next to a couch. Sitting on the couch was Uncle Sam, reading a book. May knew he would be the only other person in this house awake right now. He smiled as she made her way over to her.

Hey, Shortie, he signed. What's up?

Today is Dad and Papa's anniversary, and I didn't get them anything. Can you take me to get something for them?

Uncle Sam set his book down beside him. May, it's six in the morning. Besides, you don't need to get them anything.

Yes I do, she argued. They're my parents. I have to get them something.

Something tells me they'll be just fine without a gift. They have you. You're the gift. Speaking of gift...

You didn't get me another book, did you? May smiled. Uncle Sam had bought her a new book almost everyday for the past week. Sure enough, he produced a book from a plastic shopping bag. Uncle Sam, you don't have to keep doing this.

It's my pleasure. I want to.

Thank you.

You're welcome, Shortie.

May leaned forward and hugged him. I'm going to get some breakfast.

I'll come with you.

Dean's POV
February 14, 7:45 am

Dean rolled over to face his husband, peacefully sleeping beside him. Cas must've sensed Dean looking at him, because he opened his eyes a crack and smiled faintly.

"Happy anniversary, Cas," Dean murmured.

Cas hummed an agreement. "Happy anniversary, Dean."

Dean leaned forward and kissed his husband. Four years ago today, Cas asked him out on a date. Finally. And on Valentine's Day of all days.

"Ready for today?"

"Yes." Cas's blue eyes gleamed.

"Let's go see if May or Sam and Eileen are up." He moved to sit up, but Cas grabbed his shirt.

"Not yet."
