I quickly jogged up to my condo, walked in and tossed my keys onto the kitchen counter. I opened the fridge and heavenly found a wine bottle. I got a glass and poured it half full. I looked at my phone as I thought of Lexy, ugh I knew what I had to do even though I hate to do it. I quickly dialed Lexy’s cell, it went straight to voicemail. “Hey bro, it’s me. Uh yeah, Bella.” I felt uncomfortable doing this, yet I felt like I had to. “Uhm, look some things happened today and uh, I jus—“ I cut myself off, cleared my throat then started again. “I just need to get away for a while, I’ll still be at the studio and everything but I’m not coming back to your place… I just feel like I’m invading yours and Justin’s privacy…. Well, uhm, you’re probably with him so I’m gonna go.” I hung up then buried my face in my hands. I picked up my wine glass then walked into the living room and turned on the T.V. Then I watched what any stressed girl would watch, hot guys running around chasing bad guys; otherwise known to Lexy and I, Teen Wolf.

Half an hour later in the middle of the episode there was a knock on the door. I stood up and made my way over, no it can’t be I thought. The only person who knows about this place is… “Bro, open the door.” Lexy’s voice came from the other side.

“Oh god…” I mumbled then slid down to the floor beside the door. “I knew I shouldn’t have called her, not tonight.”

“Come on bro, I know you’re in there… Open up.” I closed my eyes as tears slid down my face. “Please bro? We need to talk. It’s about the voicemail.” She continued, I waited thinking she would go away; though she knew me too well. “You know I’ll wait here all night if I have to, I’m not leaving until you open this door.” She threatened, I sighed and opened the door, then hightailed it to the bathroom. “Bro, you know you can’t hide from me!”

“I’m not hiding, I’m in the bathroom.” I called out, splashing cold water on my face to get rid of the redness around my eyes from earlier and a few minutes ago.

“What was with that damn voicemail?” She asked as she came to the door, I shut off the water then patted my face dry.

“It was pretty self explanatory bro.” I looked up at her and she gasped.

“Bro! Were you… Crying?” She asked, I my lower lip and nodded.

“Yeah, after what happened this morning.” I said, I led her into the kitchen where my nearly empty wine glass sat.

“Oh, by the way, you do realize your studio is going to need like, beyond thousands of dollars of repairs and replacement for the equipment, right?” At that I spewed wine all over the floor.

“What?” I asked then started coughing, Lexy lightly patted me on the back then grabbed a dish rag; ran water then started to wipe the wine up.

“Yeah, Justin and I were—“

“No, no. I knew I needed a lot of money to repair the studio, but how did you know?” I asked cutting her off; she looked at me then placed her hand on her hip.

“Because Justin and I saw what he did.”

“Dammit Connor!” I groaned, then I turned back to Lexy. “Wait, who’s he?” I asked, hoping and praying to God she didn’t know Lane was back.

“Bro, you don’t have to play stupid with me. I know he’s back, I know Lane is here messing with you again.” She told me, I groaned again then finished my wine.

“You know, I …” I trailed off as I held the wine bottle upside down beneath my glass but only two lone drops came out. “Am totally out of wine.” I tossed it into the trash and grimaced.

“Okay, now get your shit and let’s go.” She said, I turned the T.V. off then turned to her as I put my jacket on.

“Where we going?” I asked, Lexy grabbed my purse, tossing in my keys then my hand; dragging me out the door.

“Clubbing.” She said simply, now I was dragging her to Cindie. “Get in, loser.” I told her, she laughed but got in.

“Go to my house.” She told me.

“Duh! I left all my clubbing clothes there anyhow.” I told her, I quickly pulled out then sped back into town.
