All I can think about is graduation day. Even though that is 117 days away, its the only thing on my mind. To get out of this dreadful town.
Hi, I'm Augustus Mallow , some people call me August and I live in Flagstaff, Arizona. With the raging heat you can't really get away from. That's honestly the only interesting thing about this place. The people aren't that interesting, if I had to say so. I go to "Flagstaff Junior High School, the best school for your child's education !" Yeah yeah, if you say so. Everyone there is all stuck up teenagers who " daddy's " buy them everything. Even the teachers aren't that great, in my opinion. But still, I do alright in school, I guess. I'm a senior. I have no clue how I made it this far, but I did.
I live on Jacksonville Avenue , with my mother Madison, father Jenson, and little sister Becca. she's okay sometimes. Dad's a lawyer. Mom works part time at the super market in town. Becca's only a grade below me. she's one of those daddy's girl. I swear she's dad's favorite, in my opinion.
I'm never home anyway. After school, I go with my group of friends who aren't that great to one of their houses. We smoke usually, sometimes get into some mischief, but that's all. There's four of us. me, Mackenzie Donner, we call him Mac, Joanna Holland, and Alanda McGrath. This as been the gang since freshmen year, they're more than just friends, they're family. I believe I'm more closer with them than I am my actual family.

It was the day of the big championship football game. Yano, the game everyone at the school has to attend. I wasn't planning on going, football just isn't my thing. After the bell rang to go home, I seen Mac at his locker. Mac was 6'4 and hella bulky. he styles his hair that certain way when it sticks up in the front and is all flat in the back. I hated it. He always wore a oddly printed hoodie with different color joggers everyday. He had no style to his name whats so ever, but all the girls still admired him. I swear he was with a new girl every week. All super gorgeous but dumb as a bat. He mostly used them for a one night stand when he can just get in their pants and then throws them on the curb. I hated how he treated females, but hey it worked.
"whats good?" I walked up to him and spotted him up. He did the same back.
"man, nothing. you're not going to the game are you?"
"nah, what about Joanna and Alanda?"
Speaker of Alanda. she comes up from behind me and squeezes my sides. She knows that makes me jump so she just has todo it every time she sees me. I turned around and gripped her up by her sides too and she laughs hysterically. Her laugh is high-pitched and squeaky and it just makes you laugh yourself. Alanda is only 5'2 and is a whole foot shorter than me. I think its cute. she had long brown hair with huge hazel eyes you cant miss. She was a skater girl, as most would call her. She wore graphic shirts with her black leather jacket and skinny jeans almost everyday. She always had a different pair of Vans on too. Her shoes were always pretty cool. She was an artist, and she was good at it. She never really embraced it, I always tell her to but she never listens.
"Hey Aug, Mac. what's the plan for this evening? I was thinking, my place then crashing who ever wins the big game after parties." she grinned. Mac and I both smiled in agreement.
"Aight, ill meet you at my place." she turned and walked away.
"You gotta get some ass tonight bro." Mac patted me on the shoulder. " Ill hook you up. don't worry bout it." I'm not worried about it anyway. I just shook my head in agreement and he went on his way. I'm not worried about shit like that, but that's just me.
