"Where were you during and after lunch yesterday?" Their science teacher asked.

The interrogation was starting. Everyone was being asked almost the same questions.

What do you know?

Do you know anything about what happened?

Where were you the whole day yesterday?

The whole faculty were determined to find out who did it.

There were three rooms where they were questioning the students. Jotting down any information they thought were helpful. They didn't know whether they were lying though which wasn't really helpful for them but they still did what they had to do to find out who the killer was.

Good news is they found evidence, a wallet, at the crime scene. Bad news is there was only money in it. No IDs or anything that may lead to who owns it.

By now, everybody knew what happened.

The blood on the evidence. The janitor missing since the rumors started. The questions they were asking.

"I was with my uh, friends. We were eating our uh, our lunch," Tyler answered.

The teacher narrowed his eyes at him to see if he was bluffing.

Tyler is David's friend. They hung out but not that much ever since Aunika became David's girlfriend. She didn't like Tyler because he was friends with Trent. She thought that he was a bad influence for David but she gave him a chance to be friends with Tyler but she still didn't trust him.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure," Tyler said, looking straight into his teacher's eyes to show that he wasn't lying.

"Was anyone acting weird or unusual?"

"My friends? No, I don't think so," Tyler answered, wondering if one of his friends did it and if they did, why?

"Was anyone missing form your friends? Anyone who should've been there but wasn't?"

"Aunika wasn't there, and Jessica. I don't know whether they were together or where they went." Tyler didn't want to stay longer so he answered the question he knew the teacher was going to ask anyway.

The teacher looked at him, looking for signs of dishonesty but he didn't find any. He leaned back on his chair, and said, "Okay, do you know who owns this?" He held up a zip lock bag which held the bloodied wallet.

"Uhm, no. I've seen it before, I think, but I'm not too sure about it," Tyler definitely knew that he's seen that wallet before. It was the same wallet that his friend owns. He didn't want to tell them though, not until he asked his friend about it. For now, he'll keep quiet and act innocent.

"Okay then, you may go," He dismissed Tyler.

The janitor's son, Michael, received a lot of pity that day. Every time he'd walk the hallways, people will stop with whatever they were doing or talking about, and they'd just stare at him with pity showing in their eyes.

His father was the talk of the whole school. They'd talk about how he was such a good man and that he didn't deserve what had happened to him. All the murmurs about his father, Michael heard all of it.

The teachers gave him the option to stay at home but he didn't want to. Every inch of his house reminded him of his father so he went to school.

That didn't make a difference though. School reminded him of his father especially when he passed by the janitor's closet. All the talk, the look everyone was giving him, it reminded him of his father. All the "I know you're going through a tough time but you'll get through it. I know you will," or the "Everything will be okay," that everyone was telling him, he didn't believe it.

He tried to forget about his death and tried to remember the good days.

Michael wanted a bicycle but Ben, his father, didn't have enough money yet. So, when he went to get his paycheck, he immediately knew what he was going to do with it.

He went to the store and bought the bicycle that Michael wanted. He then went home to Michael.

Ben was a single father. Michael's mother died giving birth to him. That didn't stop him from raising his son to be a good man. Michael blamed himself for her death but Ben never thought the same.

"Michael, I'm home!" Ben shouted, holding the small bicycle behind him for his 8 year old son.

"Hi, home, I'm Michael," Michael said, smiling to his father.

"Very funny, Mikey. Hey, I got you something," Ben said.

"What is it dad?" He asked.

"I got you this," Ben said, holding out the bike and placing it in front of Michael so that he can see it. "You like it?" He asked.

"Like it? I love it, dad!" Michael said.

"Come on, then. I'm going to teach you how to use it,"

They went outside so Michael can try out his new bike. Ben helped Michael get on the bike and then he taught him how to ride a bicycle.

"Look, dad, I'm doing it," Michael said as he was going down the inclined driveway. "I know how to use it now, dad!" He said but as soon as he said this, he fell down.

"Mikey, are you okay?" Ben asked, running to where Michael was sitting down, holding his knee that was starting to bleed.

"Come on, let's get you cleaned up," Ben said. He carried Michael with his right arm then the bike on his other arm and walked inside their house.

It was lunch time. Everyone was in the cafeteria eating, including Tyler and his friends.

"Hey guys, What's up?" David said as he sat next to his girlfriend and kissed her cheek.

"Hey," Aunika said with a smile on her face.

"Tyler, how was it? How did it go?" Rheanne asked.

"As good as it can go," Everyone at their table was now listening, "I was nervous, and I know I had not reason to be nervous but I was, and I didn't know why,"  Tyler answered.

"I would be to if they were asking me about murder, I mean, who wouldn't?" Aunika said

"I wouldn't. I didn't do anything so, why would I be nervous?" David said, disagreeing with Aunika.

"You'll know the answer to that question when the-"

"Hey, what're you talking about?" Jessica said as she sat next to Tyler and unknowingly cutting him off.

"We're just talking about Mr. janitor," Rheanne said.

"Oh, did they find out who killed him?" Jessica said but nobody answered. They were too busy looking at Michael who came in and sat next to the table they were sitting on. "You think we should talk to him? He probably needs someone to be with him right now," She suggested.

"I think we should give him some space," David said.

"Well, I don't think the same so, I'm going to talk to him. Aunika, Rheanne, you want to come with me?" Jessica stood up to leave and go to Michael's to where Michael was sitting with the two girls following her.

"Hey, mind if we sit he-" Jessica was cut off when the teacher started talking.

"Zack Blake, please report to the office."

Everyone stopped talking once again and stared at Zack who stood up and left the cafeteria.

I'm going to get revenge Michael thought.
