chapter 13

Finn POV

i feel like i should be excited for prom tomorrow night, everyone else seems to be, but at the moment it just feels like a big hassle. what im really looking forward to is the football game tonight,and although we havent won many games this year, i feel really good about this one! i smile and run through all the plays in my head as pack my uniform into my sports bag. i check around my room, making sure i havent left anything, and walk out the room, bag on my shoulder, a smile on my face. theres still a few hours before the starts, but i want to get down to the field first so that i can get a headstart on the warm up. even though i feel like i should be happy, for some reason i still feel like somethings missing......

Finn: (walking out the room and jogging down the stairs) (yelling to his mom) Mom, i'll see you later, im off to the game!

Carol: good luck honey!

Finn: thanks, later!

Rachel POV
i see finn walk past my window on his way back to the school, i assume hes going to het psyched up for the football game tonight. he looks up to my window, as he always used to do before the kiss, and spots me watching him. he smirks and waves, then carries on walking. i wave and give him a thumbs up, deciding that hes probably nervous, so i wont bother to pretend im still upset or mad at him. after hes no longer in sight, i walk back to my wardrobe and carry on deciding on my outfit for tonight. a good hour of staring aimlessly at clothes later, i decide to skype kurt and get him to help me.

Kurt: alohaaaaaa!!!! (spinning round and round in his desk chair)

Rachel: (giggling) ahola u weirdo

Kurt: (suddenly stops spinning and looks at the camera with a blank expression) thats a hate crime.

Rachel: (giggles again) listen kurt, i need your help with my outfit for tonight because i want to look good but i know its gonna be quite warm tonight so i dont wanna look slutty and.... are you ok kurt?

Kurt: (holding head) yep, headrush....

Rachel: aha well can you come round, pleaseeeee?

Kurt: i dont know Rach, ive still got a bunch of revision, (holds up huge pile of books and pretend to cry) look at this, i just dont know if i have time before the game.... (still holding up books)

Rachel: ok, thats fine, i understand. i mean its really too bad because i might let you give me a mini makeover......

Kurt: (immediately drops his books and tries to run out the door, but trips over the books in the process, falls on the ground flailing madly)

Rachel: (breaks into a fit of laughter and has tears at the corners of her eyes from laughing too much, still laughing) Oh my god......

Kurt: (pops back up on screen) ill be there in five minutes (ends call)

Rachel POV

im still crying with laughter when kurt bursts through my bedroom door five minutes later, breathless and dives onto my bed, exhausted. i laugh and get him a drink of water.

Rachel: (pouring a glass full of water) youre an idiot (chuckling)

Kurt: (snatches drink off her and downs the whole thing in 3 seconds flat, and starts to pour himself more drink) an adorable idiot who just busted his ass running all the way over here for his beautiful best friend, thank me!!!

Rachel: (giggles) youre right im sorry, thank you very much and i love you forever, now HELP MEEEEEEEEE......

Kurt: (finishes second drink and skips over to her wardrobe and starts to chuck outfits for her to try on at her)

ok have only just noticed that this story has 1.2 reads, which is CRAZY, so i just wanna thank everyone who is voting and commenting and most of all just reading and enjoying.
