Title: Bring Me The Horizon

I sighed heavily and rested my feet on my desk. My whole body felt sore from Sam practically dragging me down to the gym, and it took a lot of strength to make myself even get out of bed let alone drag myself to school.

I had my earphones in and quietly looked at my teacher while she talked. I couldn't hear a word she said but I dismissed it as something uninteresting and useless anyways. It was rare for me to listen while in class. My teachers should be happy I was even here. That was enough for me.

The ball rang and I was walking out of the room before anyone in the room even had enough time to react. I continued walking at the same fast pace even when I was far from the classroom and heading for the door that took me out of the hole that they called a school.

I gently reached for my pocket and sighed in relief when I found my pack of cigarettes and a lighter.

I pressed a cigarette between my lips and drew a long drag, feeling all the tension leave my body as the smoke filled the crisp air around me.

"Can I have one?"

That voice brought me out of my thoughts but I didn't bother enough to turn around.

I didn't care enough to give an answer to the question but I already felt his cold hands making their way into my right pocket where I had my cigarettes and pulling one out.

He used my lighter and just like me he took a long drag and slowly blew out some smoke.

He smirked at me.

"Thanks, I really needed that"

I nodded but continued to be quiet.

We walked in silence for awhile. Both relaxing with a cancer stick in between our lips.

"Can I stay at yours for awhile? My parents are home"

"Sure, as long as you stop stealing my cigarettes"

He chuckled and then turned to me and smirked.

"We both know that's not going to happen"

I sighed inwardly. He was right. It had always been like this, and it wasn't going to change. I knew that.

We stopped in front of my house. A simple, small house with a perfect garden. My parents loved when things looked perfect, especially when the neighbors complimented them on it. Personally? I couldn't give less fucks about it. Which I knew drove my parents insane.

I unlocked the door and Adam was inside before I even had time to react. When I went inside he was already in the kitchen grabbing a coke. My coke.

"You want one?" He asked cheerfully and threw me one before I even answered. I caught it a meter from my face and he laughed at me.

We both sat down on our gray couch and immediately the tv was on and so was Netflix.

He put on walking dead and relaxed on the spot next to me.

I heard my phone vibrate.

When I looked I had a text from Sam.

-what's up?

-with Adam

I quickly replied and I could feel Adams eyes studying me from the corner of my eyes.

"Who are you texting with?"

He asked just as I predicted.

"Sam" I answered simply and looked away, but I could still feel his eyes on me.
