A/N Okay so this was written almost a year old for my friend but I'm publishing it for some reason. so sorry if its terrible. If I continue writing I promise to try and improve!
Niall imagine for Beth.
You are half way through your shift at Starbucks and are absolutely tried due to being up late studying for your exams. During your shift breaks you take your books out your bag and revise, you NEED to pass these exams. You just finish your break and get back to work, you are told to work the till and serve customers. You say ‘OK’ and get to work. “Hi, how can I help you” you say looking down. “I’ll have a cappuccino and a Tender chicken and tomato salsa wrap please.” You hear in a lovely Irish accent, you freeze for a second then look up slowly. You see a blonde guy. You realise its Niall Horan. You try and stop your mouth from dropping open. You mange you say “Is there anything else you would like” he replies “yes but unfortunately I don’t have time”. Before you could tell him the price he already gave you the money and even gave you little tip. “And I want you to bring my food and drink please” he says smiling as he walks away. You can not believe it. You stand shocked and didn’t even realise you were smiling. You best friend at work had to shake you back to reality. “OMG” she says to you “he obviously likes you, here his food and drink are done, now go! Quick!” You pick up the tray and slowly walk over to him trying to concentrate to make sure you don’t fall or embarrass yourself in front of Niall. You try not to look at him so you don’t get distracted; he looks up and sees you coming and big smile on his face is made to match his gorgeous eyes. You carefully place the tray on his table; he sat in the corner furthest away from the counter. “Thanks” he says to you, “So I didn’t catch your name, I’m Niall in case you didn’t you but from your reaction I’m guessing you did”. “Beth” you say “My name is Beth”. ”Well Beth your name is lovely just like you I’m guessing” you couldn’t help it a little giggle came out, He smiled at you “So ermm Beth would you like to join me, I would love to get to know you better you seem really nice and different to most girls” you cant believe it, you smile “Oh I wish I could but I have to work and then revise on breaks” you say disappointed. “Well maybe I can help you revise then, how about that then Beth” he says with his charming smile to win you over. You can’t help it “okay” you say, you walk away trying to act cool. Your best friend is smiling at you like some sort of idiot. You finish your shift an hour later, thinking Niall would have left. You look at your best friend at she points to the corner as she walks over to you and whispers “he never left” you smile and slowly walk over “I’m sorry I couldn’t get another break” you say straight away. “Its okay, I believe you were worth it, shall we go somewhere more study perfect?” he says to you. “Sure but where?” “Well anywhere where it is just us so you can concentrate” you both walk out, people start to realise who he is and start taking pictures and putting them online ‘Niall has a girlfriend’ was everywhere. You were getting texts from everyone. You go to the local park, no ones there, its a school day so the little children were in school, it was sunny, you both sit down in a corner away from life. You and Niall start talking about anything and everything, you spoke for hours on end. You didn’t realise the time until you see children coming from school, you realised you never even opened the book. You hear Niall’s phone go off “shoot, I totally forgot about band rehearsals, I’m sorry I have to go, we should do this again sometime, can I have your number so I meet you again” you trade numbers. You both get up; he gives you hug as he moves out of the hug he gives you a kiss on the cheek and then whispers to you “sorry we didn’t study” and then walks away leaving you speechless. You hear your phone go off. You read the text ‘thanks for an amazing afternoon, it was worth being super late for you xxxx’ you start smiling like an idiot and walk home. Needless to say you met again....
