There once was a clock, and his name was Anthony. Anthony was a new shiny clock,it was the beginning of a new day, the time showed 12:00 AM. He heard from the other clocks that when the clock strikes 12:00 AM again thats the end of the day, Anthony got worried, in his mind in 24 hours his new life will be a gone life. As hours go by Anthony was pacing around thinking of the end and what he was going to do before 12.
The time was now 11:55 PM, Anthony was now crying. When Grandfather clock noticed his weeping he asked, “What’s wrong Anthony?” Anthony looked up tears still falling down his cheeks, “I’m going to die in five minutes” Grandfather clocked looked confused then told him wise words, “Have you just been sitting here doing nothing, just thinking of your death? Why didn’t you see the world, or make new friends? Why didn’t you start a band or make videos for the whole world to see? How come you just sat here, why didn’t you go and do something to remember. Why did you not make a mark on the world? Your mark doesn’t have to be large or huge. If you knew you were going to die why did you just think of the worse when you could live?” Grandfather clock got up and patted Anthony’s back, “Live your life now, not later.”
Anthony thought about the things Grandfather clock said, when he looked at the time it was 12:05 AM, and he was happy. He stood up and yelled out “I’m not just going to sit here and do nothing! I’m going to make a mark on the world, big or small!” As Anthony grew up he did everything he can and can’t do and took every chance he had. As Grandfather clock watched him get older, he smiled.
