It was fall and the air was cooler then usual, the leaves were a bright orange, yellow, and brown, with the occasional red scattered among them. I waited at the bus stop, and tightened a purple scarf around my neck. Who knew it would be this cold! I sigh. I ran my fingers through my brown hair. There were still tiny tangles that have not been brushed out. I set my army green and Leather canvas bag on the metal seat for the bus stop. Well at least I will have friends I will be able to see. My new friends, Emily, Ivi, Liza, Ari, Bri, Rosie, Kay, Cathrine, Samantha, were a small clique. My best and only friend since kindergarten, Ari, had introduced me to them. A month after hanging out, having sleepovers, carpooling to dance with each other, and getting ice cream, I was allowed into their clique, just last week. I was ecstatic. The bus came around the corner. It stopped at the bus stop, and I got on. Hey madi over here! Kay called from the back of the bus, I go to the back and sit down next to her. Hey what's up? Kay says. Not much really, I yawn, just another boring morning, You? I ask. Same. Kay replies. We chat for the ride there, Kay blabs about her boyfriend, Jesse, and how his soccer game went. I'm glad they won. I say. I know! It was great. She says. The bus stops. Well we should get to health. I say. Hey Madeline and Rosie come on we have class! Rosie calls. Ari and Ivi stand next to her. The others are already in music so we should go. Ivi waves. Rosie and I hurry up the stairs. Let's go guys!

💚I sit in class, a boy, Shawn, was sitting next to me. Hey. I say. Hey, your Madeline, right? Yeah. Turns out we were here early, and the teacher was running late. We ask each other how our day has been, what our favorite subjects are, we start to make stupid puns and jokes. Soon we were laughing to ourselves quietly. My friends were staring. I can't believe you! I say. What? It was funny. Shawn chuckles. You know.... I say trailing off. We serious just met and we are already laughing out butts off! I say. Yeah.... he agrees. It's strange isn't it? He looked me in the eye. Uh huh, I nod my head. We chat more, then the bell rings, the teacher was still a no-show. Hey what classes do you have? He hands me his schedule. Really? I gasp. What? He was puzzled. We all have the exact same classes! I say. That's a good thing right? Shawn says. Is he blushing?? Yeah! I say, I brush that off, of course he's not blushing at me, and if he was, well I don't like him... do I? He gets up. Well off to science. He grins at me. This time I feel my cheeks burn.
Hope you all enjoyed!!
