Hi, I'm Caleb. And this is my story. Well not so much my story..but more like our story I guess.

I'm a tenth grade average student, I'm not in any advanced classes. Well, I'm in advanced English. And this is the stupid assignment we have to do. We have to write our "story." But you see...I don't have a story.

But I guess I gotta write something. Because I don't want to fail. So anyways, here's OUR story.

BRRRRRRRRING. BRRRRRRING. My stupid red alarm clock rang right next to me. Normal people would've hit it or stopped it...but remember I'm not normal. I grabbed the darn thing and flung it across my room, causing it to smash to bits. Whoops.

"CALEB WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" My grandmom called upstairs.

"IT WAS RINGING." I shouted back. I live with my grandma if you haven't noticed. My parents basically did this before they ditched me: met. Kanoodled. Gave birth to twins. Ditched us. Went to freaking Unicornica. No one knows where they are and honestly I don't care. I mean, they're missing out on all this.

I dragged myself out of my heavenly bed and looked around for pants. I pulled them on then grabbed a brand new blue flannel that was on my drawer.

"Be descriptive" she said. "It'll make the essay fun and easy to picture" she said.

As I headed to the bathroom I ran my fingers though my scraggly, but amazing, brown hair. I went to find the bathroom door locked. "Oh come on Alice." I groaned. Oh yeah, did I mention the twin, not identical thank God, sister?

"LEAVE ME ALONE CAY." She said, in a screamy tone.

"BUT I NEED TO GET READY BATHROOM HOG."

"USE MOM'S." I rolled my eyes.

"BUT MY TOOTHBRUSH IS IN THERE IDIOT." She opened the door, threw the toothbrush at my face, then slammed the door.

"Damn." I said bending over to pick it up. "And what's with your face? Circus coming to town?" I smirked.

Yeah yeah yeah I know me and Alice have a special relationship. I always win though so it's all good.

"NO, THERE'S A NEW KID I HEARD."

I blinked. "And you're getting dolled up for some dude?"

"Duh Cay, stick with it." She said in some disgusted tone.

"Okay gee. I mean really though? All this for a guy?" I walked over to the table on the right of the bathroom door. I got a key out and unlocked the door, stepping inside.

"GET OU-"

"Sh." I put my finger over her lips. "First off," I picked up a makeup remover wipe and gently wiped the blush off her cheeks. "Guys think natural blush is cuter." I then wiped off the smoky eyeshadow thing she had on her eyelids. "And that makes you look older and not cute and adorable. Take this," I threw the wipe in the trash then handed her this liquid eye pencil liner thing. "Do that thing where they make the eyes look bigger." I picked up my toothbrush from the counter and walked out of the room smirking at seeing my sister's reaction.

It was priceless.

I walked to my grandma's room and brushed my teeth in silence. I...tripped...down the steps and stumbled into the kitchen. "Morning!" I grinned as I looked at her.

"Hello darling." She said mirroring my grin. "Is Alice almost done?"

I nodded, "Yep! So what's for breakfast? And what time is the bus coming today, I heard it's delayed."

"In about ten minutes. So in ten minutes start walking." We didn't live that far from school so we walked there. She said as she set a plate of fluffy pancakes in front of me. "And pancakes."

I nodded and smiled. "Thanks Grandmom." I shoved a whole half of a pancake into my mouth. "So I heard there's a new kid..?" I managed to say as clearly as I could.

"Yep! He moved down the street." She said as she served pancakes for Alice, who was taking forever. "His name is Daniel...that's all I know."

"Oh." I said nodding once again. Alice finally came downstairs wearing a peachy pinky polka dot dress.

"How do I look?" She said smiling.

"Stunning." My GMom said.

"Alice, remember what I said? Be yourself?" I rolled my eyes then shoved more fluffy pancakes into my mouth. She simply rolled her eyes.

We ate our breakfast and thanked grandma. We both grabbed out bags and headed for the door calling, "Bye Grandma!" behind us.

"I wonder what he looks like." She said dreamily. I silently gagged.

As we were walking some doofus ran into me with his stupid skateboard. I mean I love skateboarding, it's my life, but not when you ram into me with it. We both fell backwards and our stuff went every where. I gave him one of those half glare, half narrowed eyes looks. He simply stood up and brushed himself off. "Sorry 'bout that. I'm Daniel." He said as he held out his hand to help me up.
