Chapter 12

--Jades POV--

"What the fuck are you doing here? You're him. Oh my god. Who else knows? How has no one known before?" I speak before my mind can catch up.

"No I'm not him. He sent me here to take his place. He said he'd be watching." Cody says looking around. "Why would he send you here?" I ask. That makes no sense that he sent Cody to take his place. Why would he choose Cody, of all people? "He said he'd kill Connor if I didn't, he's the only family I have left.."

"Where is he? Who is he?" I ask grabbing his shirt and pulling him toward me. He holds up his hands in defense. "I don't know where he is, he said he will be watching me. He is somewhere in the Casino." I let go and look around. There are at least 3,000 people in this Casino. I look over at Damypr who has a smirk on his face. I walk over there and push him. "Where is he? You said he would be here." I growl.

"I'm not sure, but you might want to check on Wes." He continues to smirk. My heart drops. I run past Cody and go out the Exit that leads to the back alley. When I open the door. Wes in laying down in the middle of the alley. "Wes! Wesley!" I scream. I run over to his motionless body. I put my head to his chest. There is a heart beat. "Oh thank god. Wes get up. We gotta go." I shake him. He groans but opens his eyes. "Jade.....its him." He groans. "What? Who? Who is it?" I ask. "It's Dampyr. We were never meeting anyone. He set us up."

"Well, Wes I was actually hoping that you wouldn't of made it, but it seems you are stronger than you look." Dampyr says coming out of the Casino. "You son of a bitch. Why would you do this?" I growl. "Isn't it obvious. Your his weakness. So I figured if I had you, he would come for you, but he was already here so I made you send him away so he doesn't suspect anything and since you broke his little heart, he will be so much more vulnerable."

"Kian? What do you want with him?" He chuckles and shakes his head. "He's a True Alpha, who wouldn't want him. So I figured I'd use Cody as a detraction as I go out in the alley and beat Wes to a pulp so it'd be easier to take both of you." He grins. "Just because Wes might now be able to fight doesn't mean I won't." I say standing up. "You think you can take me. Lets see it then." He says and opens his arms and tilts his head back. I take out my claws and walk over to him. I pull my arm back and claw at him, but he dodges all my hits.

He grabs me by the neck and lifts me off the ground. "You can't beat me." He says then throws me and I hit the cement wall. I fall to the ground, but get back up and run at him. Just as I was about to punch him, he catches my arm and twists it. I can feel the bones break. I cry out in pain, I fall down to my knees, and hold my arm. When I look up at him, his fist connects with my face. One, after another, after another. He keeps hitting me until everything goes black.

--Kian's POV--

I'm walking in the middle if the woods. Alone. I've been walking for two hours. I don't know what to do now with Jade out of my life. Do I act like nothing happened? Do I run away and try to forget about her? Let's face it, I can't do any of those. No matter how hard I try I will always miss her or think about her.

'Kian, where are you?' Tate mind links me. 'Leave me alone.' I reply. 'Kian you need to come back.'

'Why?' I ask getting concerned. 'Cody's back and he needs to talk to you now!' I can hint the nervousness in his voice. 'I'm on my way.' I take off in the direction of the pack house.

I get there in less than five minutes. Cody, Connor, Ricky, Carsen, and Tate are in the front yard. "What is it?" I ask interrupting their conversation they were having. "Kian I'm so sorry." Cody says with sad eyes. "About what?" I ask. "He made me do it. I had no choice." He keeps rambling on. "Someone just tell me what the fuck is going on!" I yell. "Dampyr tricked Jade. He made her and Wes think that they were meeting this guy that Dampyr wanted to get rid of. He was using her to get to you." Tate speaks up. "What!"

"Kian he beat her until she blacked out and now he has her and Wes. We don't know where he has them but he is keeping them hostage." Tate says looking at the ground. I'm furious. I'm trying to control myself but I can't. My eye sight turns red, I feel my teeth turn into canines, and I can feel my claws growing. I breathe in, throw my head back, and howl as loud as I can. Tate, Ricky, Connor, and Cody cover their ears.

After I'm out of breath, I fall to my knees. "I'm gonna get her back, but not now." I say as I look up at them. They exchange confused looks. "We need a plan and I still need time before I can see Jade. I know that when I see her, I'll lose it. She rejected me and I need to accept it, even though it's killing me."

"I'm coming with, I'll bring Ethan and Mandy with." Tate speaks up. "No. He wants me. I'm not letting you and your two man pack get killed." I say standing up. He smirks. "We are coming with, no matter what you say. That's my sister you are talking about. We do this together."

I nod. "I'm coming too." Connor says. "No." Cody tells him. "Look I don't know a lot about Jade, but Kian's my friend and I plan on helping him in any way possible." He tells Cody. "You could get killed." Cody gasps. "I know that, but if it were Ashley. Kian would do the same thing for me." He nods to me. I smile in response. "What about Ashley? If you end up dead, how will she feel?" Cody continues to try and convince his brother.

"I'm going with." Ashley says coming out of the pack house. She smiles and takes her place next to Connor. "I'll come." Ricky speaks up. "What about your pack?" I ask. "Since Jade left Carsen has been taking over and we need her back. She was also one of my good friends."

"Okay." I say nodding my head. "Now we just need a plan."

--Wes's POV--

"Jade. Jade." I whisper. She groans but doesn't wake up. We are chained to the wall. I try to break them for the hundredth time in the last two hours, but the chains are made of silver. We are in a old abandoned building I'm guessing. "Jade. Wake up." She still doesn't budge. I sigh and rest my head against the wall. "Jade I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't fight hard enough. Maybe if I wouldn't of-" I start talking but was cut off my a howl. I covered my ears as it rang through the building.

I look over at Jade and see eyes shoot open and her hands go to her ears. Her eyes are shut and her nose is scrunched up. After it's over she opens her eyes and looks at me. "It's-" She begins but I cut her off. "Kian."

"We need to get out of here." She says trying to break the chains. "Good luck they're made of silver. This must not be Dampyr's first rodeo." I say looking around for anything that will help us get outta here or find out where we are. "I'll mind link them." She says. "Can't, I already tried. The silver makes our wolf side weak. We can't mind link, heal, or transform."

"Kian I'm so sorry." She whispers. "Jade this isn't your fault." She shakes her head. "Yes yes it is. If I just wouldn't of gone with him you and me wouldn't be in this mess. Kian and I would still be together and Dampyr would be dead." She starts to cry. "Jade none of this is your fault and I chose to come."

"Do you think Kian would have been able to kill him? I mean if I wouldn't of left, do you think it would of been possible?" She asked tears staining her cheeks. I can't lie to her. Can I?

"Jade none of that-" I shake my head. "Just answer it please, tell me the truth. Do you think he could of?" She asks again looking me in the eyes. "Yeah I think he could of." I say nodding my head and looking at the ground.
