He was the drug. An addicting drug. The kind of drug people are put in jail for, fined for, left for. Maybe it wasn't the boy who was the drug, maybe it was the way he whispered over the phone. The way he acted when we were close. Or maybe the way he held me on the worst nights. Drugs mess up your life. And this boy, was the drug held in my heart.
She was the light. The one you can't turn off. Always bright. The kind that can make people see everything in a better persepective. Maybe it was the way she smiles, even in the worst of times. Maybe it was the way she turned every negative possibility into a something beautiful. Lights Help you in dark times. And this girl, was the light in my life.
