Nick woke the next morning to find his phone ringing. He answered it, it was his agent....his flight agent. Excitement filled nicks entire body. "Right nick, your plane is leaving in a couple of 5 hours, so I'll pick you up in 3. You can pack in 3 right?" She asked, nervousness filling her body, nick bit down on his lips. He hadn't realised he was so tied with time, if he did, then he would've at least woke up earlier. It was already noon. "Well, it's not like I have an option, thank you so much for finding me a flight within short notice Caterina." Nick thanked his agent, put down his phone, and flung out his suitcase, filling it with the important things. Clothes and shoes basically. He put in some jewellery and perfume to lure Demi and threw in some watched for himself. He zipped up the suitcase and flung out his computer bag, pushing his laptop and charger inside, Nick snapped into realisation. He hadn't even told anyone except his agent he was leaving. Wouldn't they need him for something? Nick shrugged it off, the entire family, hated him right now. Joe would've probably told his mother and Kevin would've probably told his father- Vanessa probably would've told all her friends- so even if they needed him, they'd probably avoid it. Nick wasn't looking forward to a long lecture from his mother, and suddenly he was anxious to leave. Nick smiled at the thought of seeing Demi as he shut his everything up a half hour later, that wasn't as time consuming as he imagined it'd be. Nick grabbed his keys and left the house with his wallet.

Nick drove to Tiffany&co which was around the corner, and as soon as he stepped inside, all the staff started eyeing him. Nick frowned, what was their problem? He walked around the shop, looking for something beautiful and fancy, but not too pricey. As he scanned the jewellery on the counters, he felt a pair of eyes on him. Nick lifted his head to see one of the staff members watching him. Nick jumped back, in shock. As he looked around, he noticed that the entire shop was now staring at him. What the fuck?! Nick was seriously freaked out.

"Amber! What do you want? I'm busy stocking up these items!" Nick heard a familiar high pitched squeal coming from the staff room and he suddenly felt comforted. He saw Vanessa coming out of the stock room and he frowned in confusion, what was she doing here? He saw her wearing a blazer and suit, then he saw her name tag:

Vanessa Hudgens

Manager

She was the manager here? He couldn't possibly buy Demi something from here! He had messed up in the female category lately but his mother raised him well enough for him to know that this would not end well. Nick thought about making a quick exit, Vanessa was too busy fussing around to see him yet, but it was obvious all the staff here were going to get her to look at him as soon, they were obviously up against him. If he dashed out the store, and they stopped him somehow, the commotion would surely drag Vanessa's attention and then she'd defiantly get the wrong message, she'd think he didn't want to be around her, and then throw an emotional fit, and then everyone in this entire store would think horrid of nick. He wasn't one to put his reputation first, but he was already flopping. Nick bit down on his lip, as Vanessa turned around and saw him. Damn. Even if he wanted to escape, it was too late. Her face froze and she looked around.

"So, what are you doing here?" Vanessa asked later, while scanning his items. Nick chewed on his lip, trying to come up with a good lie, he didn't want to hurt her feelings, and telling her the truth would do exactly that.

"Getting my mother a gift, it's been a while and I owe her." Nick lied easily, and the guilt hit him just as simply. Vanessa smiled, easily believing him. "Hmm." She said, as she placed the item in the bag. "That's nice of you." Vanessa looked up and passed on the bag to nick. Nick sighed. "Vanessa, I never meant to hurt you, and I never meant to show up here..I didn't know you were manager.." He looked around at all the eyes staring at him. "If I did, I probably wouldn't have come here, your staff are creepy." Nick joked, Vanessa laughed, and nick chuckled in unison. He walked around the counter and gave Vanessa a hug. Vanessa shuffled her head into his shoulder. They stayed like that for a while, and then Vanessa pulled away, so nick did too. The staff cleared their throats, and nick widened his eyes. "Okay, they sound like they're ready to eat me, I'm leaving." Vanessa laughed and walked nick to the door, and then he left.

Nick got home to find his agent waiting for him outside. "Where were you?" She asked, shaking. Nick showed her his bag and she sighed. "Okay we'll hurry, unlock the door get your stuff and let's get into the car! your flight leaves soon" Nick quickly pulled out his keys and unlocked the door, and then ran upstairs to grab his suitcase. holding it in his arms as he ran down the stairs, he slammed the door, and leaped into the car.

A few hours later, Nick jumped onto his jet, and put on his seatbelt. He was offered a drink, which he accepted simply, and then his mind ran away from him, as he flew out.
