Chapter 21

Damon's Pov

I woke up. Victoria already left bed. Odd. I actually want to do couple things today. Hopefully last night made her realize to actual spend time with me. I requested that song just for her and everything. I walked down to the breakfast table. Victoria was talking to her dad.

"Let's go into town today, just you and I?" She asked him.

"Sure." He said with a smile.

That was the last straw. I went back upstairs. I couldn't be in the same room as her. She was breaking my heart! She told me that she was going to go see all my favorite place. Instead all she does is with her family or mine but never me. Except when she is forced into royal stuff and has to be my date. Last night was special but it must have been a show to Rachel. I was done with being second. I know that she was going to spend time with her everyone, but that's all she has been doing. Her dad this, my mom that, my sisters and her are doing whatever. The other day, she completely turned me down on a trip to my favorite downtown store. She asked her father to walk to the park with her. I couldn't believe she would cast me aside like that. I thought this trip would bring us together, not apart! This was a mistake.

Victoria's Pov

Today's plan was to relax. Dad walked me to the park. I told him all he missed in my life. He listened to everything I had to say. I told him even about Damon and I. That I wasn't sure if he actually wanted me to be here. Maybe I was overstepping. I don't know. It's just doesn't seem to work I guess here. I told him about Deanna and Lindsey. He didn't like when I told him about Lindsey's interview. He told me about the little life he had here. We really just talked and walked. It was fun.

When we got back, they dragged me to the game room. Damon apparently was still upstairs. I don't know. All the teens and kids were in the game room. It had everything. Wii, Playstation, X-box, Ping-pong, pool, foosball.

"Jeremy and Holly vs. Caroline and me at Ping-pong." I said. They all argued. We played that a couple rounds. Caroline and I were beast! It didn't help that Holly sucked and we would hit it to her. We were evil.

"Guys! I'm done." Holly whined. "Fine! Let's go swimming!" Jeremy said.

We all rushed to their suite. I gripped my black flower print strapless bikini. The girls were in bikinis too. We raced to the swimming pool. Jeremy must have gotten Damon, cause they strutted in with us. Damon looked hot in his swimming trucks. We all jumped into the huge pool they have.

Holly decided that it would be a good idea to throw a ball at me. It hit me in the head.

"Holly! I wasn't paying attention!" I yelled at her.

"Sucks to suck!" She said back.

"I'm going to get you for this!" She raced to the other side of the pool. I caught up with her. I threw the ball at her face. She didn't catch it and it hit her in the head. "Now, who's doing the sucking!"

"That's what she said!"

"Ugh!"

"That's what he said!"

"Has anyone ever told you that isn't cool anymore!"

"I do what I want!"

"Well when I punch you in the face, I do what I want."

She frowned at me. Caroline decided to make the moment even more awkward.

"It's okay Holly, at least you don't snore like Victoria!"

"I do not snore!" I said.

"Yes you do!" Holly said.

"You guys are unbelievable!"
