My alarm went off for the day as I groaned. I hit my phone so it would turn off. I got up and showered. I changed into jeans and Cali baseball tee since it was 80 degrees out here in LA. I threw on my chucks before grabbing my phone, keys and wallet.
I jetted down to the nearest Starbucks and got my usual before going out for a walk. I guess I wasn't looking and I bumped into someone.
I said I'm so sorry!
The person said its fine don't worry about it.
My head shot up because I'd recognize that voice anywhere.
It was Nash Grier.
I said I'm so sorry once again.
Nash said its no worries. I'm Nash. What's your name, beautiful?
I said Dani.
Nash said so, Dani, what's a beautiful girl like you doing out on her own on this lovely LA day?
I giggled and said why, thank you for asking me. My friends are all working and I got the day off. What about you?
Nash said well, I just needed a day away from my friends. Would you like to join me?
I smiled and said sure.
We walked around the shops in the area and just got to know each other.
I said Nash Grier, is today really a day away from the MagCon boys? Or you just started to walk around by yourself?
He laughed and said you caught me. I was just walking around by myself to clear my head.
I said what can I say? I'm a mind reader.
I laughed and walked ahead into a Hollister. I guess he followed because he popped up beside me as I shopped around. As I got to the cash register, I was getting money out of my wallet as Nash said I got it. Don't worry.
I said Nash, I can pay for it myself.
Nash said no, I got it. I want to pay for you.
Knowing that he wouldn't give up, I put my money back into my wallet.
As we walked out of the store, I said thanks for paying for me.
He said it was no problem. I wanted to pay for it.
I said well, thank you once again.
He just smiled. The rest of the day, we just hung out together. We stopped for a while just looking into a store. My stomach growled and we both heard it. We just laughed
Nash said well, let's get some food in you.
We walked to the nearest restaurant and it was an IHOP. After ordering some food, I said to Nash, thank you for today. I had a lot of fun.
Nash smiled and said you're welcome. I had a lot of fun too.
We just talked and laughed throughout our dinner. When the bill came, we both agreed to pay for our own food.
At the end of the night, Nash walked me back to my apartment. We were standing at my door as the silence between us got a little awkward.
I said thanks again for today. Hopefully we can hang out again.
Nash smiled and said of course.
We exchanged phone numbers before hugging each other goodbye. He started to walk away as I walked into my apartment. Then I heard my name.
"DANI!"
I dropped my bags in the apartment and looked back out to see Nash running back to me. Before I knew it, Nash gave me a quick kiss on the lips before saying I've been wanting to do that all day.
I just smiled and gave him a quick kiss before saying you should go. It's getting late.
Nash said see you tomorrow.
I said bye.
He kissed my forehead before he left to get into the elevator. I walked back into my apartment and closed the door. I slid down and sat against the door and stared into space. I just kissed Nash Grier.
