Underground

Preface:-

I've never felt at home in my own home. I've never felt 'normal' simply because I don't like to think of myself as normal. I'm pretty different, I'll admit that much. Do I think I've deserved all the crap everyone has put me through for it? Absolutely not. All my life, I've been made fun of for my differences, not just at school, but at home too.

Life's hard. It's true when they say only the toughest survive, right now I'm far from surviving. Yeah, you can say I'm pretty, hell I can be freaking gorgeous to some people, but deep down I know that beauty is dangerous. Beauty leads to death. And that's probably what's going to happen to me, sooner or later.

My name is Tyler, kind of a boyish name for a girl right? Yeah I know. I just turned sixteen, the big 1-6. It's not that big of a deal. My best friend Abbie was the only one to say happy birthday and do something special for me. I love her with all my heart. We've been through alot, fights, bullies, and parents. She's stuck by me through thick and thin, she's a pretty sweet friend isn't she? She has blonde hair green eyes while I have blue eyes and dark brown hair. She's like a supermodel and I'm about average everything, absolutely average.

They say waiting gives you time to think, time to reflect and contemplate life - who you are, what you are and what type of person you have become from the innocent or not so innocent child you were. The world is not a cruel place, despite what people might say, it is in fact a wonderful place, it's the assholes that make it seem terrible and dark. The sad part is, that maybe the assholes could be the ones to save lives one day.

I know it sounds crazy, but would it be wrong to say that I accept death? Life hasn't offered me anything and the only good thing in my life is Abbie. It's strange I know, but what would you say to me telling you that I know something bad is gonna happen to me? Shh don't guess what it is yet, because you're in for a bumpy ride.

A/N: Hey everyone so this is my new story 'Underground' ;) Sounds pretty scary doesn't it? I know i'm not done with Undying Thirst yet, far from it, but I got to thinking, why not make a new story for all of you who hate the whole vampire concept ;) You're welcomee!
