Kaine walks into the med bay, searching the small vials. The agents are all required to have a blood sample taken every week. Kaine is looking for a specific sample. He made a promise. He has no choice but to keep it. He finds a small vial, containing a small blood sample. He looks around, picking it up, slipping it into a small section in his wrist gauntlet. Nobody is nearby, but he immediately feels that he carries a burden, one that, if discovered, could be the end of him.

He walks out, feeling nervous, but hiding it the best he can. He soon arrives at the edge of the Helicarrier, with permission to be there, of course. He takes a deep breath, exhales slowly, then leaps off the flying aircraft carrier, spreading his arms, gliding at an extremely fast speed. He pulls up, slowing down, then gliding down to the designated meeting place. He pulls out a cell phone, calling the number given to him at the orphanage.

"I'm here. I have what you wanted."

"I'll be there in about half an hour."

Kaine hangs up, evaluating his decision. Ben still has the detonator, as well as explosives planted in an orphanage. He won't risk their lives. Before Ben can arrive, Kaine opens the vial, proceeding to cut himself, letting two drops of his blood into the vial. He'll give Ben the blood. Just not without throwing a wrench in the gears of his clock first.

Meanwhile, Delia and Jayla begin to look for a fueled Quinjet. Their request to have their jet custom painted was finally noticed, then it took a week or so for them to get permission. They find one, telling the agent that it's the one they want.

"Your team has three members... where's the third?"

"He's out. Had some business to attend to."

"Oh."

Delia mumbles something to herself along the lines of: "I'm not in this team. I'm just here for fun."

Jayla walks out, Delia following. Delia's noticed that she's been acting a bit strange, ever since they were at St. Agnes.

"Jayla?"

"What?"

"I couldn't help but notice... you've been acting odd since the trip to St. Agnes. I don't know if you're okay with answering, but... what happened to you there?"

"Well, I was taken to an orphanage, and I never met my parents. Is that enough for you?"

"Not really, but it works for now."

Jayla begins to speed up, trying to get away from Delia, visibly angry.

The Jackal arrives, sunlight reflecting off the gold sections of his mask.

"You have the sample?"

"It's here."

Kaine holds out the vial of blood. Ben takes it from him, putting it in his pocket.

"Thank you. I think I'll name this one... Sapphiri? Yeah, that'll work. And by the way, I lied at St. Agnes. There were never any bombs."

Kaine stands there, enraged, but knowing that Ben won't be able to complete his plans properly after he contaminated the sample.

Ben leaves, as Kaine swings away, towards the Triskelion, to head back to the Helicarrier.

Meanwhile, Jayla sits in her SHIELD issued room, thinking back to her life before all this craziness. To St. Agnes. In the room next to hers, Delia sits down holding her head as Jayla's memories flood her mind. Learning what she can about her, and her past. She finally gets up, leaving her room and walking to Jayla's.

"I've decided to reconsider leaving the team. I may stay. That remains to be decided. It depends on...things."

"Glad you decided to reconsider."

"And I read your mind. I know your life wasn't quite the best... but come on. You have to get over it someday. I had to, when I escaped that cloning facility."

"So, you're a clone too, huh?"

"That's... irrelevant."

"I stopped caring too. My motives changed, from just wanting to be better at my job, to doing my job right. That means doing what I think is right. And I think turning Kaine in isn't right."

"Well, that's good."

"I guess it is."

Seconds before Delia leaves, Kaine walks into the room.

"Jayla, I have something to tell you."
