Writing note-

This was a piece I wrote for a school assessment, and was an attempt at something fairly romantic/sweet. Comments and criticism always welcomed :]

Sunlight filters gently down through the creeping vines that surround us, as we stand locked in a beautiful embrace. Bamboo, tall as castles, shrouds us from the harsh taunts of life. here in the patch where time stands still.

I remember your lips, red as the berries that flourished above us high in the trees, all consuming and powerful like my love for you. The wind whispered sweet nothings as she passed through us while you grasped my grateful fingers, as if you never wanted to part.

It was here we spent hours lost in each other, the feel of your flawless, peach skin caressing my palms as the summer rain fell delicately across us, drowning out our fears with it's soothing warmth. Dew drops glistened like gems, clinging from the bamboo shoots and scattering bursts of sun across your beautiful face.

The grass comforted us as we lay near silently inside of it, leaving shades of brilliant green in our reflections, outdone only by the deep emerald of your loving gaze, which warmed my heart with every look. Scents of nature itself floated carelessly by, tantalising my senses and mixing with the peaceful smell of lavender which breathed endlessly from your hazel brown hair. My heart thumped wildly with one thousand words I longed to say, but the delicate wind swept them away, leaving me breathless. The soft rustle of another world lay around us, casting images of the future we were to venture into. It was on this spot we threw away our dreams, our false hopes and every other burden that pressed us down, and simply lived in the moment; the real world had no place here, and none of it mattered with you.

As we kissed, I tasted your sweet poison, the unforgettable taste of ripe apples and your own unique taste. It sank perfectly into the depths of my soul, sending ripples of pleasure across my helpless body. Flowers bloomed and you stepped by, never letting go, even as the haze of uncertainty deepened. Cracking bamboo and rustling trees created an orchestra of comfort and trust with their familiarity. You lay peacefully in my arms as the rain subsides, leaving only faint droplets skimming across the branches that shield us from the sun, now more powerful than ever. The water gives it's own distinct smell, which grasps to us like invisible hands. Your coiled body presses against mine, almost unmoving like the ground we rest on, imparting memories into me which I will cherish for life.
