This is my first poem..so go easy. I wrote in 5 minutes at 5:30 in the morning..i think its okay. i hope.

Oh, how I wish you were here with me in my arms,
I wish I could just sit there and hold you forever.
But I know this is just a dream,
You would never be with me.
I've cried my eyes out days upon days
Hoping and waiting.
Asking God for the wrong things,
But now I realize the answer
That i have been denying.
The truth I've hidden behind the lies.
I wish it wasn't this way but it is
And now I hope I can get through it
With time and support.
But remember one thing
You will always be in my heart.
