Chapter 1:TIMBER!!!

{Scott's POV}

I helped with the last box. I put it into the moving truck and I yawned.

"So the schools there are incredible."exclaimed Mom

"Well,let's hope they don't have an animal keep attacking the teachers."I sighed

"And the girls are hot!"exclaimed Stiles

I laughed. And then I hopped in the car as the trailer bumped up on the down.

We continued to drive for hours. As Stiles was ranting on how Beacon Hills was terrible. And then I saw the sign that read,'Welcome To Mystic Falls'. I was already starting to miss home.

{*Elena's POV*}

I brush my teeth as then my phone buzzed with a text from Stefan.

"Forgive me,I love you more than Katherine."it read

I deleted it. I rubbed my necklace. And knew if I took it off,I'm vulnerable to compulsion,but it reminded me too much of Stefan. I sighed and put it in my dresser drawer. I checked on Jeremy,and went to sleep.

The Next Morning,I woke up and got ready to go to the grill with Bonnie. I straightened my hair and put on my red v-neck blouse,my jeans and my converse.

"You look nice."smiled Jeremy

"I have to meet up with Bonnie in like twenty minutes."I sighed

Before I left the bathroom,he hugged me. And I smiled in relief that he was gonna be here for me. I went downstairs and I saw Bonnie talking with Jenna.

"Hey!Ready?"she piped

"Yea."I nodded

I waved bye and we left for the grill.

"So,there's a new guy in town."nudged Bonnie

"Bonnie I just got over Stefan."I sighed

"Well,maybe you need to distract yourself."she winked

"Bonnie!"I exclaimed

When we walked inside,I so stupidly wasn't paying attention but I saw that I bumped into a guy. His eyes peered into mine.

"I'm Elena."I stammered

"I-I'm Scott."He stuttered

"Would you like to play pool with me and my friend?"he asked me and Bonnie

Bonnie shrugged.

"Sure."I smiled

I threw my jacket to the chair and grabbed my cue stick and I sighed.

"What?"asked Scott

"I'm terrible at pool."I answered

"Honestly,so am I."he yawned

His friend,Stiles ended up winning. Bonnie and I had to buy the boys drinks,so we used our southerner hospitality and we took them to the woods,where we had a back to school thing going on.

"So,can I get you a drink?"asked Scott,smirking

I saw Stefan leaning against a tree,his eyes filled with anger and his eyebrows,knitted together. You only live once,I thought to myself.

"Sure."I answered

"Really,Elena?"He whispered

"I'm over you,and you can't compel me because I bathe in vervain."I growled

"He's way under your league."He snickered

Scott walked over with two red solo cups.

"Hey,is he causing you trouble?"He asked

"Not at all."I smiled,signaling Stefan to leave

He stormed off. Swearing under his breath.

"So who's that?"Scott asked

"My ex..he's jealous."I answered,sighing

Scott pulled me up and we danced,his hands on my body made me light up like a wire.

And then,his eyes met mine.

"Just think of that annoying Taylor Swift song."He laughed

"I try."I sighed,smiling

When he drove me home,we walked up to the door and then he kissed me.
