You & I (Novelette)

HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE UPDATE BEFORE ANYBODY FINDS OUT ABOUT THE ORIGINAL PLOT LOL, I THOUGHT OF THIS ONE RIGHT AFTER I'D WATCHED FROZEN.

I decided to turn this novelette into an AU kind of story, but still with fictional characters. :)

Poppy Winters was not your ordinary girl. Yeah, sure, she wears shirts from the dollar store with band logos on it. She only has one skirt and has only worn it once in her life, and she doesn't even own a dress. Her wardrobe mainly consisted of sweaters, flannels, torn up jeans and leggings. Her shoes are either dirty sneakers or three other pairs of boots, but those things she has now were all that she wanted. That, and a pack of cinnamon cigarettes.

Then, Poppy meets a boy named Del Jameson, and he was the polar opposite of her. He was a prim and proper city boy, coming all the way from New York City, all the way to Louisiana. He lived with strict parents and a tattletale sister named Dayna. At first, Del kept pushing her away, but then he realized there was something about her that couldn't keep him off from her.

But Poppy had a secret--she was ice cold.
