(18) christmas eve

The break had flown away, it was now Christmas Eve and our third week of staying here.

Dad finally had chilled over Farkle being here and shows how much he approved. Mom had thought about our words before dinner that one night and quite obviously approved as well. Auggie thought it was just cool to have a guy to chill with even though there was an age gap.

"Mom, when is Josh getting here,"  I say eagerly.
"Soon why," Mom says.
I quickly explain the Josh and Maya situation but get interrupted by the door openings me Josh shouting into our house, "Family!"
"Hey Josh," I say from the couch I had been sitting on.
"You must be Maya," mom says spotting the girl holding hands with Josh.
"That's me," Maya says smiling at Mom.
"Well I have heard good things," Mom says.
"I'm flattered," Maya says.

We sit in the living room talking and we are joined by Farkle, Auggie, and Dad.

"Do how did you two meet?" Dad asks.
"Oh. So I was visiting my girlfriend that goes to their university and we had a big fight and broke up so I was just chilling at a Starbucks and I met Maya so we talked for a while then exchanged numbers. Then we decided to meet over break and we made it official just before the break. So we have only been dating for a monthish," Josh says.
"Ooh interesting," I say.
"Yes, I think so too," Maya says giggling.
"Well guys I'm heading to bed and so are you Auggie," Mom says.
"Awh really mom," Auggies complains.
"Yes Auggie," Mom says.
"Fine," Auggie says going to his room.
"I'm going to, but can you lot go to Rileys room so 'Santa' can come," Dad says using quotation marks with his fingers.
"Okay," I say leading everyone to my old room.

When we all sit down and get comfy Josh asks, "How did Farkle and you meet?"
"Well, I was put into a co-ed dorm accidentally and I had the asshole roommate. Like biggest asshole. By biggest asshole I mean Farkle. We shared most of our classes and we got put into a group for a project. That's important later but then I went to this party and I was gonna have a one night stand with this guy and Farkle walked in and made him leave before I was fully undressed. He gave me some pjs so I got changed and he left but I asked him to stay so he did. After that night I had a crush on him but anyway back to the project we were taking pictures all day and we were on top of a building, middle of the night and we kisses," I say.
"You said nothing happened that night!" Maya says fake angrily.
"Well, we kissed," I say laughing.
"Traitor," Maya say laughing.
"Yeah, yeah," Farkle says stopping our fake arguments.
"How's the sex?" Josh asks.
"JOSH!" I yell.
He raises his hand up in the air defensively but Farkle says, "Ah-maze-zing."
"FARKLE!" I say hitting him arm.
"Sorry," he says with a smirk.

We talk for hours and end up having a couple drinks. Farkle and I crash in the bed and Maya and Josh crash on an air mattress on my floor.
