In the field of communication: Chelsea Denver, specialized in journalism.
I could observe my parents in the distance, in the fifth row clapping and smiling with happiness; Like Jaden and Ashley, who were in front of me.
As I went down the stairs, I heard Aaron's voice congratulating me and saying that he was proud of me, but then I went back to the real world and realized that I was only imagining him, he was gone and he was never coming back.
The clock struck 12:01 p.m. when we had our degrees and were officially graduates of Washington State University; All three of us were graduates; Jaden in advertising, Ashley in audiovisual production and I in journalism. We finally made it and it was time to celebrate it the way we always wanted, travel together. My parents could not contain their emotion, they even spent taking potos of me.
"Congratulations dear, we are very proud of you"
"Thanks Dad"
I went straight to Jaden and Ashley, both to embrace them and to congratulate them.
We spent about 2 more hours in college after graduation to say goodbye to our classmates and teachers, as we did not know if we were going to see them again.
Later I went home with my parents, took a hot bath and get myself ready because at any moment Ashley and Jaden would come for me.
I was doing the last thing and checking that I didn't miss anything, when I heard a whistle and some voices.
"Let's go Chelsea- I look through the window and gave them the direction that i was already going.
I went downstairs and flew straight to my mother.
"Mom, I'm going out for dinner with Ashley and Jaden, we'll come back later"
"All right, will they stay, or come tomorrow morning?"
"They're going to stay, see you later Mom, i love you" I said as I gave her a kiss on the cheek.
There they were, Jaden with his convertible on the side of the pilot and Ashley as the copilot. I pulled the door behind me and walked quickly so i wouldn't get wet with the garden sprinklers.
"But you look pretty."
"Thank you, my friend, you guys look very handsome too." I got in the car and we left.
The restaurant was called Sonoma Restaurant and was on Pennsylvania Avenue. We were prepared psychologically in the sense that the prices were a bit high, however someone recommended to us and because of the opportunity we could give ourselves that luxury.
On entering we were attended by a young lady who dressed very smart in her long-sleeved shirt and a petticoat that reaches the knees.
"Good evening and welcome, how many people will be at the table?" - She ask in a formal and delicate way.
"Only three of us" Jaden said.
"Please, follow me around here"
While walking, we saw couples, and groups of friends in their elegant clothes. Beside the table was a lady, standing up straight with a towel on her arm.
"Your table is served and Carmen will be your waitress for tonight" she mentioned, showing a smile on his face"
We ordered spaquettis in white sauce with shrimp and white wine to accompany.
"For us, and for the things that will come," Jaden said.
After an hour, after dinner we went to a sports bar that was close to that restaurant. We put a game on the pool table, and then we played table football (Ashley and I against Jaden). After playing we stayed for another 30 minutes, we had a drink and then we went back home, next day we had to wake up very early to check that there was nothing missing for the trip.
