Link Pov

Ah the fresh air of Hyrule field, it was better air than Kokiri Forest hard to believe right. I wanted to not only see Zelda again, but help protect Hyrule. And no I don't have a crush on Zelda, she's like my best friend besides Saria. I saw someone lying on the ground, being kicked by some Moblins. H/l h/c hair was laying against the grass, she also wore this warrior type of clothing that was f/c (any color pic above). A silver sword with a golden handle was next to her, (picture above)the sword transforms on will so it starts on the left one then turns into the one on the right) I saw a few cuts from the attacks on her, she seemed fine. I took out the Master Sword and killed the Moblins, they are pretty strong as a group. I nudged her side, no response. That's when I saw her hand, a triforce had shone. The left one was glowing, whoever she is she also has the triforce of courage. Mine started glowing, did we have a connection of some sort. She was breathing just unconscious, I smiled at her then mentally slapped myself. Link you don't have feelings for a girl you just met, it's not right. Her eyes opened and looked at me.

Y/n Pov

What happened? I just remember fighting off the group of Moblins, then on my way back. Oh, I was sneak attacked they hit my head hard which explains the giant headache I have now. A blond haired guy held his hand out for me, I took it and sat up. He wore a green tunic, green hat, brown boots, and...tights. I kept in my laughter and introduced myself, "my name's Y/n, protecter of Princess Zelda and her sister." Usually I'd just say my name but I trust this guy for some reason."I'm Link, hero of Hyrule and everything," this couldn't be the hero right. I mean what hero wears things like that, I've heard stories of him wearing green but tights. That's when I noticed his gloved hand, a triforce. "Thanks then Link for helping me," he smiled, "no problem." I returned the smile and grabbed my sword before standing up, "I'll see you around 'hero'." I started walking back to the castle once again and heard him following behind me, I gave him a questioning look. He pointed to the castle, I nodded understanding. When we got there I walked him to Zelda's room since he claimed he needed to see her, I opened the door. "Princess a visitor is here to see you," Link walked in and waved to Zelda, Zelda jumped out of her seat and went to hug him. Link looked at me and mouthed 'shes crazy', I smiled. "Ah Link it's been so long, I guess you've met Y/n." He nodded then Zelda spoke again, "that's good, I want you guys to get along since you will be working together." Me and Link shared looks, "Y/n my dear sister, I have Impa as protection and Ganondorfs sister Gananllia //Gan-an-leah-a/(I'm not creative) is preparing to bring Hyrule into darkness. So I wanted to send you guys out to find her and end the destruction." We both nodded, "when do we leave," I asked. "Later tonight, so she doesn't expect it." "Link we better get ready," he nodded and left the room leaving me behind. If he leaves me in a battle were going to have a problem.

Links Pov

Me and her, on a team?! I can already sense our differences, Y/n is a girl for one and shes also a princess and yeah. Even being a princess she might be a good warrior, but then again I saw her on the ground unconscious due to Moblins. I do remember Zelda saying she had a sister but that was back when I became the hero of time seven years ago at nine years old. (You, Zelda, and Link are 16, Impa is 22)

Flashback 7 years ago

I walked up to Zelda escaping the guards once again, she smiled at me. "Hey Link, how is everything," "everything is great actually, I'm done saving Hyrule." (He never changed ages like in the actual game) She clapped her hands together and gave out an excited laugh, "great job Link!" I knew she liked me it was obvious. That's when I heard someone crying? I thought there was only one princess of Hyrule. I peeked over her shoulder and could make out a small girl in a f/c dress like Zelda's, she was crying into her hands so I couldn't see her face. "Princess Zelda, who is that girl? The one that's crying." She looked behind her then back at me, "that's my sister Y/n, she probably got hurt again she's really clumsy in that dress of hers." I could see the girl was sitting and had her legs out, I spotted her ankle and it looked twisted. Y/n also was by some stairs making what happened obvious. I felt sorry for her, having to live under Zeldas fame. "Link I have to take care of her we can talk later." I could barely nod before she shut the door and ran to her sister. I never got to meet Y/n.

Flashback end

I looked down at Y/n's left ankle, a bandage still wrapped around it tight. I remember a doctor telling me not to break a bone young, it could cause problems and pains in the future and now look at that. She seemed fine actually like it didn't matter to her, Y/n didn't show any signs of pain just a little limp every now and then. I knew she looked familiar in a way, I think the new clothes are what threw me off.
