“ Hey, Yusuke…”

“ Em?”

“ You know Ema since you was in first year, isn’t?”

“ Yeah?”

“…..what do you think about her?”

PHAK!! Eri lifted her head. She thought she just heard the mechanical pencil’s lead broken? She saw Yusuke’s faces had turned into red. As red as his hair.

“W—why you ask me like t—that?” Yusuke stammer, asking Eri in return. Eri sighed.

“ What’s the problem if a sister asking her adopted brother about his step-sister?” Eri replied Yusuke that make him speechless.

Yeah…that’s should be a normal things….thou. Eri is his adopted older sister after his mother, Mrs. Miwa adopted Eri into Asahina family due Eri’s mother that coincidentally her bestfriend and was passed away a year ago. Since Eri don’t have any relatives; she is single child and her father was divorced with her mother long time ago. Mrs. Miwa with the pleasure adopted her…and now she have 2 daughters; that make she happy!

“ That’s…well…she is kind, optimistic…clever…she also a gamer…just like me (and you, Eri)…” Yusuke start listing down his opinion about Ema.

“…and cute?” Eri nodding. Even her eyes focus on the paperwork in front of her, in the same times, she listen to Yusuke answers. She lifted her head, seems Yusuke still blushes.

“…so, that’s why, you liked her?”

“W—what?!” Yusuke shows his panic reaction. OMG! So cute~! Whispered Eri deep inside her heart.

“ N—no! I’m not! We are sib…n—not…not that’s….ARGHHH!!!!” he started to mumbling and that’s make Eri laughed; looking at Yusuke’s reaction.

“ Hahaha, no wonder Tsubaki-san loved to teased you…your reaction quite interesting~” Eri giggles. Yusuke sighed when he noticed Eri just teased him. Eri rest her chin with her left hand. She stare at Yusuke.

“ So, that’s true that you loved her…right?” Slowly, Yusuke lifted his head, glance Eri. He sighed. There is useless to lied her anymore.

“ Y—yeah…” answer him, his face blushes all over. Eri smirk, aha! I knew it! Whispered her.

“ That’s why you work hard to get into Meiji’s University, so you can spend more your time with her there…I see, I see…” Yusuke silent, he can’t replied anything, he just too embarrassing.

He know his intention to study in Meiji University totally impure...but he can't do anything about it. He sneaked, looking at Eri. He did thought, he should share his feeling with Eri. Since he the one the reason why Eri stuck with him at home while the others having a great trip. He asked Eri to tutor him because the entrance examination of the university will be held soon. Well, actually, Eri don’t mind much because she have  classes too and can not join the trip.

“ In the other words, you the one who crushed her before others, right?”

“Eh?”

“ So, you deserved to earn her love, right?” Yusuke stunned. He can’t believe on what Eri just said. Did she….just blessing his feeling towards Ema?

“ A—are you sure…with it? I means, I loved her…and we…” ask Yusuke. Eri silent, while looking at him.

“ Yes, sure, why not? If she replied your feeling, I’m the first one who will be wish congratz, you know?” Eri answer him, with her smiles on her face. Yusuke speechless with what he heard just now. His adopted sister supporting him?

“ I see your hard work, so, don’t make this hard work just a vain, ok?” Yusuke nodded. Eri’s words become his motivation to study…and to fight with his brothers to won Ema’s heart.

“ Yosh!! My spirit burn up now!!!” Yusuke started to solves the Mathematic question that he stopped just now….by Eri’s distraction. Eri smirk, looking at Yusuke’s will.

“….but, if you rejected, I will be treat you to released your tension” giggles Eri. Immediataly Yusuke’s faces turn to sour.

“I—I thought you at my side just now? Don’t ruin my study mood!” scolded Yusuke, unsatisfied. Eri laugh so hard. They have some more small agrument before, the situation become calmed.

“ anyway…thanks…” Eri draw her head, looking at Yusuke.

“...*Nee-san” Eri stunned, but then, she smiles. She nod, slowly.

She shows her concerned and happy faces towards Yusuke, but…after confirmed with Yusuke’s feeling just now…deep inside…she tried to hold her hurt…in her heart…
