I managed to make some friends at school, I have three best friends at school Olivia, Maddy, and Ashley. They were actually friends together in their own school. I joined their group at the beginning of the year and we're a pretty solid group. The holidays are almost near so after these few days they'll be a holiday for a week or so.

I go to school with Maddy as she lives close to me so we normally walk it to school when we arrive at college we get bombarded by a myriad amount of homework and revision so, I decide to stay after school just to get most of it done and out the way.

Since I knew I had to stay after college I phoned up my mother to tell her the unfortunate news of not seeing me after school "mama I have to stay after school I have a shit load of work to do and I'll come home at 6" I say to her waiting for a reply.

I can tell she's cooking so, I wait for a few seconds till she actually speaks "come home at half five" she simply replies after and I smile "okay I'll be back by 5:30, love you" and with that, I hang up the phone.

By the time I was going to get home, it was going to get dark however I was going to be with Maddy so it was fine "Hey Clara, I won't be able to stay after because my mom's not feeling very well" Maddy says looking dull "are you kidding me!" I remark staring at her face "okay, I'll be fine, don't worry you should take care of your mom"I say in annoyance. she smiles "you'll be fine," she says reassuring me.

it's going to be all dark and gloomy after the session and I have to walk all alone without anyone. The bell goes after the last lesson which is history and I hug Maddy, Naomi, and Olivia before leaving for the session "I'm sorry I'll see you tomorrow" Maddy says and I smile "I guess".

After the long hours of constant work and a 10-minute break between them I head out of school and towards home, I check the time to see 5:15 giving me 15 minutes to get home.

As I continue crossing roads and walking down some I get to my street but get pulled back by a strong arm of a guy and he puts his hand over my mouth preventing me from making a sound. I then step on his foot making him grunt and put my elbow up to his face making him whine.

he calms down and grabs my arm "you're coming with me whether you like it or not" he announce giving me a death stare "oh hell no I'm not" I reply and with that I kick him right in the nuts where it hurts "owwww, you bitttchhh" he says gritting his teeth together.

"if I don't get home on time my mama going to whip my ass so, I don't give a fuck as to who you are but I'm not going anywhere with you," I say loudly as I back away from him. I then turn around fully and begin to run just when I'm almost home he grabs both my arms as if he's going to arrest me and I begin to scream.

Just then a husky voice says "leave her alone!" and then next thing you know the guy moves away from me and starts to fight with the guy. I turn around to see who the guy is only to be met with Ryder Rodriguez? who by the way is my sexy neighbor.

just as he fully beats the crap out of him a whole load of more come out of nowhere like a swarm of angry bees "what the he..." just as I'm about to make a comment I'm dragged by the hand of Ryder he gets on his motorbike and hands me one of the helmets.

"get on" he bluntly exclaims and points to the bike with the helmet "you want me to get on," I say confusedly "no I want you to stare at it" he replies sarcastically. I look behind me to see them gaining up on us.

I breathe in heavily taking the helmet and placing my hands on his shoulders. he starts up the engine and then just like that were off onto the road getting chased by some bloody men who after me.

I look around to see the men on motorbikes like us catching up to us "are you serious" he huffs as he increases his speed "they're getting closer" I say loudly "yeah I know" he replies. They then come right next to us I extend out my leg and kick the guys making the motorbike fall to the ground and the two guys fly off it.

"damn girl" he shouts as he sees my action and I laugh a bit "put your hands around my waist," he says "what? why?" I question what's wrong with having my hands on his strong shoulders. "I'm going to go faster so you better hold on tight" he replies however when I'm about to place my arms around his waist he increases the engine and I quickly grab hold of his waist before I fly off, which makes him chuckle.

Another guy catches up to us and I panic I take off my helmet and throw it at him making the guy fall backward off of the bike and skidding across the road "my helmet!" Ryder screeches as he sees the action through the side mirror "shit" I mutter and he shakes his head.

He then takes a right into an alleyway and stops the bike. We both get off and I say "what are you doing" he then pushes me to the wall and looks over to see if any of them have followed but there's only one "hey!" the guy screams and Ryder just stands there "can you fight the guy" Ryder asks looking at me "yeah" I say giving him a bit of sass.

"okay fight him," he says pointing at the big muscular guy, is this guy serious the guy is like twice my size as well as my age "okay" I proudly say and just as the guy arrives I throw a jab to his face which only makes him angry I then kick him his weak spot which makes him whine like a little girl as he bends over I kick him the face which he then falls to the ground.

I turn to face Ryder smiling "there you go!" I chirp and smile at him, he smirks at me and says "I have to give it to you, you did a pretty good job" and with that, he hopped onto the bike handing me the helmet "sorry" I apologize since I had thrown his other helmet at one of the bastards who was after me.
