First Love
I saw you for the first time. The sun shone down on you,
Transforming your hair to a
vivid shade of caramel.Your soft locks fell
down your back
and curled behind
your ears and around
your shoulders. You turned to look at me.
Your eyes shined brilliantly,
Reminding me of the
summer sky.Your soft, pink lips
curled into a gentle
smile,
As you raised your
arm to wave your
delicate hand at me.I took a step forwards.
The sun disappeared again,
And your hair returned to
its dull brown hue.Your cold, blue eyes bore
into my soul,
Your smile turned into
an ugly snear,
As your claws swooped
down to cut through my
chest
and capture my beating
heart.

Words of Ink
PoetryOne word. I fell in your trance, sucked into your inky depth. Two words. You drew me in, my attention rapt. Three words. I laughed, I cried, I knew Four words. that you were just a word of ink. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~...
