It was well after midnight and Cas was sitting in the bunker doing research when suddenly he felt a presence behind him. He turned to see Dean, making him jump a bit. "Dean... I didn't hear you approaching."
Dean cleared his throat, but kept his usual composure. "Sorry, Cassie," he said, walking up next to him. "What are you up to, anyway?" He'd been standing there watching the angel for a few minutes, so he tried to make up a subject to avoid it being awkward.
He watched his every move as he made his way to his side, shaking his head a bit when Dean spoke to him. "Oh, not much, just trying to find out what killed those girls downtown."
Without really thinking, Dean placed a hand on Cas' shoulder, looking at the computer. "Any luck?"
He shook his head, "No..." he sighed and swung his head back a bit, only just noticing Dean was touching him. He felt a shiver go up his spine and glanced behind him to make sure it wasn't his wings manifesting.
Dean sighed. "You've been on this damn computer for hours. Take a break, Cas," he said, using the nickname he'd given the angel years ago. He really did worry about him, and he really cared for Castiel.
Cas looked up and Dean and back to the computer. A minute later he picked up the books off his lap, placing them on the table and standing from the chair. He turned to Dean, "What now...?"
Dean took a step back when he realized how close he was to Castiel, a very light blush appearing on his cheeks (which he hated). "I dunno. Well- What do angels even do? Y'know, for fun and stuff."
Cas countered Deans steps, looking him right in the eyes. "How about a walk?" He offered, his voice never faltering.
Dean swallowed nervously when the man stepped up close to him, and his breath hitched slightly. He broke eye contact with Cas after a moment. "Yeah, sounds good."
Cas smirked a bit, jUST A BIT, before placing two fingers in Deans forehead and zapping them into the middle of a forest.
Dean almost forgot to breathe for a moment when he saw the smirk playing on Cas' lips. He wasn't expecting Cas to just zap them somewhere, and he stumbled a little, not used to it.
He kept his gaze on Dean, not bothering to take in the scenery. "Do you like it? I thought a private place would be nice."
Dean held Cas' gaze, and it took him a minute to form words. "It's- it's nice." He had never been at a lack of words before, yet somehow being so close to Castiel did just that.
They stood in a comfortable silence before Cas caught himself glancing at Deans lips. He blushed and turned away, hoping he hadn't noticed.
Dean had noticed Cas' eyes flick down to his lips, and he felt heat rise to his cheeks. When Castiel turned away, he let out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding and put a hand on his shoulder. "Cas?" He had no idea what he was going to say.
He turned around sharply when Dean touched him, cupping his face and pressing a light kiss to his lips. He let go and backed away when he realized what he'd just done "Oh no... Dean, I'm so sorry." He turned away again, not wanting to see Deans reaction.
Dean jumped slightly in surprise, and the faint blush on his cheeks darkened. He was surprised, but not at all in a bad way. "Cas, wait." He reached out and grabbed Cas' wrist to keep him from walking away.
He stopped, but didn't look at Dean. "I messed up, I'm sorry." He murmured, keeping his eyes to the ground.
Dean gently cupped Cas' cheek with his hand, his expression going soft for once. "Cas. You didn't mess up." He couldn't help but feel so... Small.
Cas looked up at him, his blue eyes bore into Deans green ones. "But you didn't like it..."
Dean raised an eyebrow at Cas. "I did, you idiot," he said, though he said it lovingly, and he broke their eye contact only so he could press his lips gently to Cas'.
His eyes widened as Dean kissed him, but he soon melted into him. He wrapped his arms around Dean and pulled lightly at his hair. But he stopped when he heard a light whoosh of feathers. His wings.
Dean couldn't help the quiet noise he made when Cas tugged on his hair, and he melted into the kiss. When he heard the sound of feathers, however, he broke the kiss to look, and saw Cas' huge black wings. "Holy shit..." he said breathlessly.
Cas blushed, trying to bring them down behind his back but they kept springing back out, probably since he hadn't manifested them in so long.
Dean looked at Castiel's wings with wide eyes, awestruck. "Are those...." He stood close to Cas, almost pressed against him, and reached out with one hand to shakily run his fingers through the feathers.
He cupped his mouth when Dean touched his wing, the base of the wing was typically more sensitive.
Dean saw Castiel and his hand went still, though it was still touching the wing. "Cas, you okay?" He was worried he was hurting him, as he had no experience with angels' wings.
Cas nodded lightly, "Wings can be sensitive, but not easily hurt..." He looked away, "I guess it's been a while since anything has touched my wings, so I'm not used to the feeling."
Dean let out a shaky breath when he realized how it must've affected Cas. "Oh," he said quietly as he carefully ran his fingers through the jet black feathers, moving to touch the base just to see how Cas would react.
His breath hitched when Dean moved his hand even the slightest, causing him to close his mouth more firmly. He taught the urge to make a noise, but it soon overwhelmed him and he let out a muffled moan.
Dean's breath caught in his chest for a moment when he heard Castiel, and watched him closely with a smirk playing on his lips. He continued stroking the angels wings, mostly to see how long he could.
Cas felt his wings beginning to shake with pleasure, and the grunts and moans he made were becoming almost nothing to him. He opened his eyes to see Dean stroking his wings, a satisfied expression plastered on his face. Suddenly he jumped forward, smashing their lips together. His wings curled around them and he pushed Dean back so he was against a tree.
Dean smirked when he saw just how badly he was affecting Castiel. He was taken by surprise when Cas took over, but didn't fight it. He let out a startled sound when his back hit the tree, but he just put his arms around Cas' neck, melting into the kiss.
They stayed in the forest for a few more hours before returning to the bunker. Sam had gotten up by then and was making coffee when the two of them walked into the kitchen. "Oh hey gu-" he stopped when he saw them, "uh... Cas, why are you wearing Deans shirt? And Dean where IS your shirt?" Dean and Cas went to sit down, both grunting when they did and brushing their messy hair. "Oh... OH." Sam opened his mouth in shock. "I see, um, I'll be in the other room... far away from you two."
Dean couldn't help but laugh when he saw his brother's reaction. "Problem, Sammy?" He grinned, not caring that it was completely obvious what they did. He knew he and Cas were a mess, but it was bound to happen sometime, right?
