"AHHHHH! SAVE ME! SOMEONE SAVE ME!" I screeched louder than I ever have before, flailing my limbs wildly. You might think this is a little over dramatic, but I literally tripped into a hole and fell for what felt like years. Don't judge me, it literally felt like years. Then I came to a abrupt stop, feeling a sharp pain in my ankle. I lay still to collect my thoughts, and to observe the situation I am in.

First off, I am laying on a bunch of yellow flowers. Secondly, I fell through a giant hole. Thirdly, it feels like my ankle is going to explode. Sitting up, I brush off my jacket, it reminding of the melon slices I had for breakfast. My friends were right, I really do look like a melon. I take a moment to sniff the flowers I landed on, smelling like a mixture of sunflowers and roses.

Then I start to stand up. Just as I get up, I fall back down with a yelp. My ankle hurts so much it feels like a truck just ran it over. Again. Yes, that has happened before. Anyway, I quickly wrap my scarf around it and scoot my butt to the opening, ignoring the throbing pain. Then I see the strangest thing ever.

A flower with a face. Yeah, you heard me right, a flower with a face. And then it started talking. "Howdy, I'm Flowey, Flowey the Flowey. I mean Flower. Flowey the Flower." I can't help but laugh at the mistake, my voice getting louder as it gets more annoyed. It is shaking with rage right now.

"You know, I was just going to be nice, but then you started to laugh at me. So let's get this over with. Wait, what? A watermelon-colored heart floats out of my chest, and petals looking as sharp as knives slowly head toward it. It's expression morphs into a demonic one, laughing with a shrill voice. Making a fast decision, I stall to live a tiny bit longer.

"Umm... are you a boy or girl?" "Wait, you don't know what I am?" The petals stopped moving as his expression morphed into a confused one, his laughter halting suddenly. A large awkward silence pasts, lasting until a fireball hits the demon plant and a large goat-man-thing enters the scene. "Hello, I am Toriel, keeper of the ruins. Might you tell me your name?"

Uhh... think fast. "Watermelon, my name is Watermelon." I reply awkwardly, hoping the large goat-man-thing would take that as a answer. "That is a nice name." She smiled warmly which made me on edge, "Now come with me through the ruins, we wouldn't want you to face that flower again, now would we?" She picked me up by the hand and my ankle started plotting to kill me again.

I limp as I hold the goat-man-thing's, also known as Toriel's, hand. He guides me through many puzzles, my favorite one being the spikes one. Then after testing my independence, he gives me a phone and tells me to stay where I am until he comes back. As soon as he leaves, I hear three voices bickering.

"Chara, no, you don't need any more chocolate." "But chocolate is my life Frisk, I can't just give it up." "I gave up seeing my sons after falling into the Core. You can give up your chocolate." "Shut up Gaster." "Chara, don't be rude."

I scoot myself to the entry of the next room, and can't believe what I see. The one known as Frisk is a child with a blue sweater with two purple stripes. The one known as Chara looks a lot like Frisk, but has a green sweater with a
yellow stripe. The one known as Gaster however, isn't human at all. He looks like a black and white blob of goo. I decide to make my presence known.

"Give up the chocolate stranger person." I demand with my toughest voice. The three just turn to me with surprised expressions of their faces, then the Frisk person turns to the Chara person and says. "Yeah, what they said." Then the Chara person lunges at them and the Gaster person has to pull them apart.

I just sigh and say with a monotone voice, "My name is Watermelon, nice to meet you." The once tense environment turns to chuckles and giggles, turning the attention off of me somehow. I scoot across the floor as their distracted, getting across multiple rooms before I enter a battle. This battle is with a ghost named Napstablook who looks quite depressed.

I cheer him on and comfort him, and eventually he showed me something really cool. He made his tears go upwards and made a hat, a move he calls DapperBlook. After showing me it he looked ready to leave, but I want him to stay longer. I reach out my hand and touch him. He is quite soft to the touch.

"Y-you can touch me." He whispers with a startled voice. He's adorable. "I guess so." "How?" "I don't know." "What's your name?" He asks me with a little bit of curiosity. So kawaii! "Watermelon, but just call me Melon. Any who, do you want to travel with me?" I wonder what he'll answer with. "S-sure Melon, if you want me to." That answers it pretty well.

"Well Blooky, let's take a nap before going on ahead." He lays down with me as I close my eyes. I think about today. I met a demonic flower, a goat-man-thing, a Chara, a Frisk, a Gaster, and a new friend. Hopefully we're not jumped by anyone while we're asleep. Like a demonic flower, a goat-man-thing, a Chara, a Frisk, a Gaster, or a new friend. Wait, what's that... I really want a watermelon right now.
