Chapter 7: Xar: The Demon of Heartbreak

This was to much to handle, I decided it was time for a nice warm relaxing bubble bath, and my laptop to watch a nice television show. The second I took my clothes off to go in, someone was texting me. When I walked out to get my phone, Kevin texted me which took me back even more. "Hey T, Do u know if Liza's planning 2 break up with me? She's not taking my calls, can u call her and ask her what's going on?" Liza always makes sure she talks to Kevin, something must be wrong, but what if it's a trap? The only solution I had was to bring Daphne and Rachel with me, that made me feel safe and protected. "Do you think it's a trap Tessa? A magical trap?" Daphne turned up the volume when the news caught my eye. "WOMAN KILLS MAN: CLAIMS MAN CHEATED WITH HER BEST FRIEND."

That was absolutely crazy to see, she shot him in the chest and stabbed him 18 times. Mrs. Mills and Mr. Mills live across the street from us, and they used to babysit me while my parents had to go to work. I couldn't believe what I heard Dad talk about on the phone. "SHE SHOT HIM AND STABBED HIM? She's claiming that he was cheating on her with her sister? Yikes." I was curious to see what Dad was talking about, he told me and I was even more shocked. "Mrs. Johnson shot Mr. Johnson in the chest, then stabbed him 6 times." What is going on? She was my first grade teacher that lives down the block. This can't be a coincidence, something is up and I have a gut feeling it's supernatural. Rachel had a great idea and I thanked her everyday because of it, "The book! After we got our powers the book started writing by it's self right? maybe there's something that can explain what's going on?" The second she said that, we walked very quickly upstairs to the book.

"What do they have in common though?" Daphne looked very confused as she was flipping through the book. "Shot in the chest and stabbed?" Then it dawned on me, "Heartbreak." Daphne and Rachel looked very confused the second I said that. "Think about it, what did both women tell the cops? Their husbands were cheating on them with someone close to them. Someone they loved, which gave them heartbreak. Look for heartbreak in the book." Xar: The Demon Of Heartbreak, he causes affairs to happen, and he makes the husband tell the wife at the most romantic moment. Over a century ago, Xar was a mortal who fell in love with a witch, until one night his lover called out the man she was cheating on him with, heartbroken Xar killed her then made a deal with a evil sorcerer to become a demon. Good news is that we had to say a spell in Latin, and we had to make a potion. "Eieci te de inferno eieci te de hac vita, vel facie irae flammis exiturum."

Sounds about easy, "I banish you to hell, I banish you from this life, leave now or face the wrath of the flames." Latin was my strong subject last year, the potion was another story. "We are going to have to work on this later, first we have to get to school." Rachel came and got me, and thank god she did. At that moment in my life, I was actually happy to go to school. School was actually going along great, I said Hi and Hello to everyone. It wasn't until Chemistry when I noticed the creepy old janitor cleaning the window right by my locker. "Who the hell is the creepy guy?" I asked Holly Jenkins, she was in my chemistry class, and she was three lockers down from me. "I don't know, I saw him in the office talking to Principal Morrison. Maybe he's helping out Janitor Jackson while she's on vacation?" Ever since all of this happened, it's always good to keep your guard up. I knew Mr. Rodriguez, or Don was happy to see me now that I'm a witch and I was right.

He wanted us to work on our assignment for the day, when Don wanted to speak with me outside the classroom. I had Josh who used to copy off of me, write the answers down on loose leaf so I can copy and turn my assignment in during health. "Did you girls figure out what's going on with the news?" He had such a smirk on his face, "Xar, the demon of heartbreak. We are going to vanquish him after school. You are so loving this." "Like I said, I'm not your guide, but I helped you find out your destiny. Doesn't mean I can't help you three along the way." Even though I asked Holly about creepy old janitor guy, I had a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. "Did you notice the new janitor? He was cleaning the window across my locker." He had the same confused look on his face, the same look that Rachel and Daphne had. "No I haven't, Keep a look out just in case, and I will find out from the teachers just to make sure."

The bell rang, which means it's time to get the answers from Josh and go to health. I had to go back to Don's class to get my jacket, heading back out when I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Before the very big rush of students known as the "class change" creepy old janitor had his hands on my locker, chanting something very soft. "Hey what are you dong to my locker?" He ran away before I could stop him. Looking at my locker, I noticed that my locker was glowing very red almost lava red. Very concerned, my hands glowed white but not a huge glow where everybody could see. My locker stopped glowing, which made me believe that I just used my power to heal, which also meant that creepy old janitor man is evil. Little did I know that he was the biggest worry, but what happened next made matters even worse not only for me but for everybody. I decided to just open my locker until I felt a tap, then I felt my whole body being lifted almost as I was about to be kissed. I turned my body around and I was being kissed on the lips. My eyes opened and the guy kissing me was Kevin.

We were kissing with such passion, such lust.
