"Come on sky, please.....please!"begged Chasity.
"Pleeease....!" chimed in Sean, Darrel, Sierra and the rest of my friends.
"Guys, i don't know,I don't think this is a good idea, plus we don't know where Mrs. Cravitz is." I said.
"Come Schuyler " Sean said putting his arms around me " You know you want to, plus it's just plum what's the worst that can happen." he smiled at me.
"Well......." I thought about for a second and finally gave in,"Okay i'll go pick the plum ." they started cheering."But someone has to go with me." and as Sean took his arms from around me i felt Sierra take her eyes of me for the first time.
" I"ll go with you " Sean offered and Sierra's head snapped back towards us.
"No you won't " she snapped and everyone just stared at her, " what I mean was I'll go with you, why bother Sean." she chuckled nervously.
"no it's fine i don't mi..." his voice trailed off when Sierra shot him a glare. " okay you go "
Sierra and I climbed the gate to get into Mrs. Cravitz's yard. I of course was a Tomb-Boy growing up, so climbing it was not at all hard but Sierra on the other hand had some problems getting over, while trying to land without a scratch like I did, her pants leg got caught in one of the bars and she lost her balance and fell, she landed face first on the ground tasting a lot of grass.
Well little me just started laughing along with the rest of our friends and it wasn't a simple laugh, no it was hold your belly and roll on the floor kind off laugh. We spent about a whole 15 min laughing, Sierra glared at me then at Sean who was laughing the hardest.
"Sierra do need any help, i can come over get you."Sean said his laughter finally ceasing.
"uh-I..no i'm fine thanks."she stuttered and stomped away. I exhaled and went after her."It's not funny you know." she snapped without even glancing back at me.
"Maybe not to you,but you falling is funny for the rest of us including your dear crush Sean." i replied to her.
"I'm not talking about about that." she said
"Then what are you talking about?"i asked
" I'm talking about why you have to ruin my life," she shouted
"And please enlighten me on how i'm doing that." I was starting to get a little irritated with her and her and her shit.
" oh, don't play all innocent for me sky. You know how much I like him yet he's always around you,hanging out and stuff."she said " If I didn't know better i'd say you like him too and want him all for yourself." with that statement I lost myself control .
"Me......want him," i scoffed" that is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard. Yeah don't get me wrong he's hot and all that but Sierra....urhh no....... not for me, he is like a really cool dude to chill with. I only see Sean as a friend and i'm sure he only sees me as one too. But you are so caught up in acting like a bitch to see that. I'm sorry if you feel that i'm out to get your wanna be man. But don't blame me because you are too freaking scared to tell him how you feel." she seemed a little taken aback by my outburst but she collected herself quickly.
"Me i'm too scared, why don't you look in the mirror sky cause last time I checked you liked Darrel but have you told him that yet , no. So before you are so quick to judge make sure you follow your own advice first." she stated triumphantly like she won this argument.
" That's my problem but do you see me acting all bitchy towards my best friend and any other female who talks to him. We're supposed to be best friends but all you seem to do is argue with me constantly over everything that involves Sean. If you don't want to be my friend anymore just say so." I said with tears rolling down my eyes. Her eyes softened and she came up to me .
